I wouldn't go so far as to say who I think may or should be delisted but I have listened to some of Woosha's interviews and he mentioned some that there may be some surprises in personnel at the end of the year so because he already preempted it, I wouldn't be surprised. Make sense?
So you won't be surprised by the surprises?

Peter Worsfold is in off-field development, not the football department.
His position comes under the Football department and is funded out of the Football Department budget, as does Ian Miller and Phil Narkle, he's in fact their immediate superior. Both he and Miller would fit comfortably in the 'Jobs For The Boys' category.

Fair enough. I was responding to a post asking if he was an assistant coach and questioning his credentials for that job.

Fair enough, I should've checked that. On the subject of credentials, one could perhaps question his credentials for the position he currently holds.

On what basis could Ian Miller's occupation be considered "jobs for the boys"?

We would have made finals but I don't think we would have finished higher than 6th on form. We have played some really average football this year. The injuries have killed us but there only a part of it. The injuries have highlighted how important Hurn and Natanui are to us and how our midfield is middle tier in the comp atm.

BANG!!!! That's the sound of Matera LeNui hitting the nail on the head with a 50 kg hammer.

Cransberg has said Woosh has the gig all along and Woosh confirmed he wanted it last night. God I hope so. The last thing our club needs after such a shitty year is to lose the best coach going around.

Not sure if your taking the piss with all your "best coach going around" stuff. I can't see how is the best, probably not even the top 3 or 4, we all can see he lacks gameday initiative and is pretty slow to make changes during the game when things go bad. Not to mention every team seams to be able to pick through our so called "press" these days and score easily out the back, not sure if it's Woosh's fault but surely he could see this happening last year and could have tried to change something?? Shall we start talking team selections next???

Reason doesn't work on fanboi's, so don't waste your time, for all you'll get in response is something akin to 'Woosha iz da best'. Haven't we already seen evidence of such?

I'm not sure about other teams but I find that at the start of every season I have no idea whether we're going to have an excellent or shocking season. 2010, 2011 and 2013 all caught me by surprise and I honestly have no idea what will happen in 2014. I think we're just as likely to finish in the top 6 as we are to finish in the bottom 4. I'm not sure that's normal.

Actually, I assume most other supporters know that they're on the way up or they're in a rebuilding phase. We seem to have a foot in both camps and as a fan that's really frustrating.

I'm also not sure that our good game plan in 2011 is enough to give our coaches a tick as strategists. Being ahead of the curve once, for a season and 3/4, doesn't mean jack unless you stay ahead of the curve. Clearly our coaches haven't managed that.

If it was up to me, I'd be looking for a new head coach. At a stretch, I'd give Worsfold a 1-year contract, tell him it's top 6 or he's gone, despite injuries, and make it a condition that, at the very least, Scott Burns isn't here in 2014.

Under Worsfold we have seen plenty of innovation.

- the handball and keep the ball alive at all costs strategy (when we had the best midfield in the competition) netted us a flag and we were robbed of a second only after Hall was granted MRP immunity and Sampi wasn't free kicked despite having his head ripped off in the final play of the day. In hindsight remarkable because the loss of Cousins and Judd have proven that was not actaully a very good team. Incidently Geelong play that style of footy and used it last week end to kill us. WCE circa 13 dont have the cattle, skills or pace to implement it.
- the play two ruckmen strategy when everyone else said it couldn't work
- the forward press which took the competition by storm after we won a spoon took us to a prelim despite us still having a shocking midfield (other than Kerr)

Our current situation is the result of poor recruiting since 2006, and devastating injuries to key personnel. Last year we were robbed of a top four spot after losing our forward line, this year we have basically lost our midfield, ruck advantage and halfbackline. We have also got players out of form or exposed as poor players who dont stand up when the chips are down.
