Our culture is broken. Its sad but true. The players mentally checked out 3 weeks early. This would not happen at a club with a stronger culture. The rot has set in and it needs to change. Too many complacent players, coaches and support staff.

i am hoping like hell that the reason we havent seen Roos sign on with either Brisbane or Melbourne yet is because he is waiting to see what will happen with worsfold over here. Roos has had plenty of time to sign on with another club already, so just maybe.

If not, bring back Sumich. Since he left we have been shit. And the added bonus is that we could get the low down on Freos gameplan and perhaps start winning some derbys again,

Yeah its true. The club is in massive trouble both on and off the field.
I think we need to clean out the cancers and start the rebuild.
We will be in the wilderness for a few years yet.

If Dick and Hams have retired, then I'm interested to see what other list management decisions we make over the coming weeks; it seems that decisions have already been made and followed through, I daresay Woosh has had a major say in those moves (Obvious list management decisions they may be), so we'll see what happens...

That said, why the f**k did he revert to playing Masto and Wellingham as High HF's, unless he was experimenting, which I understand, but those two have been our best performing mids over the past two months. Was frustrating watching Masto stuck at times.

Either way, I'm excited, it seems that change is beginning to occur, with at least some deadwood being cleared from the list.

having sex for an hour with no ending.

Maybe but I would have much prefer that than watching the game tonight,................. rather no climax than an anti climax.

The only thing I blew tonight watching the game was my stack.

Has anyone noticed that as soon as the club put the "cue in the rack", ie, rested players after the Essendon match, we have played like shit? I know this is extremely hypothetical, but there must be a reason why we have gone down hill like this. Were they told to take it easy for the remaining three games? Did they just decide not to try as they arent contending? Anyone remember when kennedy was backing Cameron to win the Coleman over himself, when he is even more elegible?

I dont know what it is but you cant go from a team averaging almost 100 points a game to less then 50 within the space of a week.

I can believe cant I? That this side isnt as shit as it has been the last few weeks? Right?

At no stage did it seem like we wanted to be positive and attack through the middle. The Gameplan must involve some sort of predetermined kick it around the edges rubbish. Sack him, or at least do not give him a new deal. He hasn't earned one.

yeah we've definitely checked out mentally over the past few weeks, which is understandable, the season's lost... pretty hard to get motivated when we had such expectations placed on us pre-season. i don't think i'd really read too much into the last 3 games.

So Dargie, are you suggesting that there is no one out there capable of coaching better then Woosha?
Have I said that? If not, why wheel it out like I have?

Instead of responding to something I've actually said, you try to feed me a ridiculously exaggerated version of my position in the hope that I'll endorse it without noticing that it's nonsense?

Try again.

You know about two years ago there were many Freo fans who thought Mark Harvey was the right man for the job.
His track record was pretty good and were doing ok.
Then he was brutally axed and again the Freo faithful were blind sided when Lyon was appointed the new coach.
Despite the fact that Harvey was doing "OK" he would have never been able to have taken us to where we are now.
It's not unthinkable that Freo fans in that position would have been able to single out Lyon as a preferable option.

His appointment was a surprise but he was, after all, a coach who had achieved some relative success at a club that was by then on the slide. Are there any Ross Lyon equivalents available to West Coast in the current situation? Do those who want to replace Worsfold fancy any of them?

If you want to introduce Lyon to Freo as an analogy, then those are fair and obvious questions.

To be asking for names is not a job for you or any other supporters really but the WCE board instead.
Why not?

It's weird how you just flatly assert this, as though that's sufficient.

Yeah you've done it before woosh, you took us back to 4th and then 5th. We don't play games of footy to touch the top 4 and then rebuild again, you rebuild after flags.
