Short memories this lot. I bet this was the same crowd that called for his head after 2010.

"Woosha says he can rebuild the eagles"... What a load of shit. He shouldn't HAVE to rebuild the eagles ffs.
Last week he said that we'll come out firing after the past fortnights performances and what did we dish up? A steamrolling by adelaide, which is not good opposition mind you, and avoiding our worst score ever at subiaco AGAIN, by 2 points.... Seriously, GTFO Worsfold i'm sick of your shit.
He doesn't HAVE to re-build the list. Any team that has been injury plagued as much as WC has been this year can never win a flag.
Our team the past month has been filled with fringe players and spuds, and over the past month we've played against good teams that are going to and probably should be playing finals. Stop being so hysterical FFS.
I wasn't expecting them to "win a flag", i never expected that but there's a little thing called pride. And nothing, absolutely nothing changes the fact that we have performed pathetic over the past 3 weeks and our team under the Messiah Worsfold have shown non whatsoever.
Blaming injuries is a total cop out. EVERY club in the AFL has injuries. Just means our depth is shit compared to the likes of Collingwood, Geelong, Sydney, North and Hawthorn. No amount of injuries can be used as an excuse when we still have probably 18 of our best 22 playing on the night.
Good teams like Adelaide? At home? Without there full forward?

You forgot the gumbies running the club eg., Management and the Board. Our culture is broken. Its sad but true. The players mentally checked out 3 weeks early. This would not happen at a club with a stronger culture. The rot has set in and it needs to change. Too many complacent players, coaches and support staff.

The last 3 weeks has been the players letting everyone know what they think of the prospect of Woosha staying on as coach.

Exactly. As thorne89 mentioned, if his plan involves more of this circle work around the boundary and wings then he must go. The game is played though the middle. We hedge our bets at the moment, that is to say if we can't manage clean disposal to get it forward we force it out for a throw in; that is not effective footy and other teams camp out and wait for that every time.
We look great when we go through the middle quickly and it does not allow the other side to flood back and stick 2 blokes on JK, or at least the loose man in defence blocking off the space he is to lead into.
If he can instil some pride, hunger and efficient ball use into this side then I'm happy for him to stay. I think the "stale" notion is quite relevant here though.
My boss is a seated member and by about round 8 I had him convinced it was a poor gameplan. He texted me last night during the 2nd and said 'I've counted 25 or so times down the right wing' so he's obviously noticed it too. It is our default setting 'go to the boundary'.. problem is our blokes are neither skilled nor quick enough to execute that effectively (fumbles, miskicks OOB on the full, spilling marks). At least going through the middle it's a quick succession of short sharp disposals. My girlfriend was at her first ever game last night and she turned to me in the second half and said, "Why do they keep going out so wide? Wouldn't it be faster if they just went through the middle?"
Not long afterwards the young girl sitting in front of us turned to her Dad and sobbed, "I wish we were a good team."
Both made my night, but pretty damning for Woosha and his 'game-plan'.
We ain't getting Roos. He turned down the Brisbane job because he didn't want to up root his family to QLD, you really think Perth is an easier option? That leaves Voss, a coach that wasn't good enough to take Brisbane forward, and there's no way, a powerhouse financial side with 60,000 members is going to take Lions scraps. That leaves us with either getting the assistant, or a brand new untested coach. I'd prefer the latter.

Well if you take out all our good years then of course his % is going to be bad...
Look I'm no longer completely opposed to a change but it's annoying how people completely turn on Woosha as soon as we hit a bad spot.
