Ive officially jumped ship to either the Burns or Suma bandwagon!!!
Seriously though....i go to all Wce games in Melb.....and i better get a competitive team to watch next year. During the pies v wce game i almost walked out at quarter time...i was fuc*in livid.....zero intensity!. Didnt help the missus is a full blown rabid Pies supporter!!!!. I couldnt handle another season of Gaff, Schofield and Butler playing like girls. Comon Wce.....kick some asss!

It was time to go - the fact he recognised this and made the decision without being pushed is testimony to Woosh's character.

Nothing can take away his contribution to our club - it will take someone very special to displace Woosh as the top Eagle. F and B must be named after him and must be done this year as a show of the Club's respect for the man.

He's an icon I've known 25 years. I've got plenty of respect for him but it is time to move on.

It's also time for you to move on "DippersDonuts" style if you have any integrity at all. You did guarantee he was staying.

Perhaps start quoting and arguing with yourself again like you did yesterday and just let the grown ups get on with real discussions?

Thanks for everything Woosh, you have been part of the blue and gold ever since I watched the Eagles as a young boy. You have epitomised everything I love about West Coast and were strong and classy to the end. You have turned the club back into something we are all proud of after the pit we found ourselves in not so long ago. THe next coach will benefit from the hard yards you have done. All the best
 
Well done Woosh on a great career.
Under the circumstances you have done the right thing fantastic career as a player and a pretty decent job as a coach.
Not too many people can do both very well.
