What's everyone's starting word, and next choice(depending on the 1st reveal?

I use STOAE, I did try changing things up at one stage and got myself stuck & not really working

On the longer forms of the game, when I have time to tackle them, my second word is QUICK. I find that helps set things up pretty nicely

I vary mine but usually something that uses a couple of vowels and common letters, such as house, or train. For Quordle and bigger comps I start with four elimination words that use up 20 letters, chimp, belts, frown, gaudy.

For Quordle I go with PLUME STORK CHAIN which generally sets me on my way

But J is a waste. Better words out there with more common consonants. (Imho)

Used to have one starting word but then I've broadened it to about 3-4 words.

With all 3, the vowel is the 3rd letter.

Always.
