Hit the green 3 from last 4 holes, no yellow bunkers, but had to settle for par after my first dabble in learning a certain rule.

5 - Bogey
6 - Double Bogey

Could do a little golf tournament where everyone treats the next 18 wordles as 18 holes (302-319), with playoff holes for ties. If you fail in that time to submit a wordle or exceed a 6/6 you get cut (which keeps it interesting if someone had a big lead and horror off day).

I play against the mrs everyday and after a month the tallyboard glitched (I think when NYT took over), so we've been keeping score ourselves.

Currently averaging 4.06 since keeping tabs ourselves, have hit 2 four times, still no 1 yet... we count >6 as a 7 lol.

Cool, I'll just do an updated leaderboard before my post each day. 18 games seems achievable without a glitch hopefully, and good to see evidence of a track record where 18/18 Wordles is fairly doable. Starting from Chief's 302 Wordle (earlier today), I'll just keep track of all regulars who post a thread score in that time frame. Could award a 7 for a failed game but for a finite pretend golf cup I think it is probably more fun to boot them. We'll see how this goofy thing goes anyway. Before my Wordle 303 result I'll post the end Wordle 302 leaderboard for the 'first hole', and so on.

Bigfooty Wordle Championship #1
18 holes (Wordle 302-319 results)
1 - Hole in 1 (-3)
2 - Eagle (-2)
3 - Birdie (-1)
4 - Par (0)
5 - Bogey (+1)
6 - Double Bogey (+2)

'7' - Game Over
(except for the 1st hole, a 'friendly round', a one-time-only +3 exception to get you started, e.g. Nikita Blue )

Missed Wordle - Game Over
(you'll stay on the leaderboard for 2 more holes with asterisk in case of delayed post, then cut)

And trust you on your word to be good sports, plus no spoilers. Just a bit of harmless low maintenance fun. In case of a sudden influx of participants, no more than 30, just keep this first one casual and see how it goes. Hopefully the winner can manage to finish under par, and good luck!
