Haven't set it to hard mode, but that's how I played it today.

Found it hard to believe that you wouldn't use the revealed hint in your next guess anyway?!

Well thats how I originally played it, until people pointed out using the first two guesses of completely different words could identify a lot of letters and eliminate others.

A lot of people are guessing words like ASIDE and OUGHT as the first two words to get all the vowels (and some common letters). Hard take away that option. If you get D in the right position, you must guess _ _ _ D_ in the next word.

I think as long as you get it within 6 you’re doing ok. It depends on the pathway, and a bit of luck. A friend of mine tries to beat their previous time to solve it but I don’t need that kind of pressure . Does anyone else watch the timer?
