Unlimited games per day. You can set it to any number of letters between 5 and 11.

I'm on 6 letters. To make it harder I set myself a rule that I have to start with the answer from the last one. But often it gives you a good start. It makes it more interesting as you have to think about your 2nd and 3rd guesses rather than using your stock couple of words.

Part of the appeal to me is its only once a day. Something to do with your morning coffee.

I was guilty of that early. Now I make sure before each guess. I might even leave it then go back to it later if I'm stuck.

I was on a 29 game winning streak and, somehow, it's reset itself.

I’m on 29 today going for 30 tomorrow hasn’t reset yet

I've no idea how it works, I've played 32 times for 100% wins, and it says current streak 7 max streak 24.

It's probably some javascript thing that Chief needs to deal with

I do it when I can't get to sleep. I also play Wordle

With unlimited games you lose the social aspect. You can share your results but it's meaningless because other people won't have played the same game(s) that day.

But 6 letters is a more of a challenge than 5. For the lolz I had a crack at 11 letters. Without a crossword type clue it's hard to randomly think of 11 letter words to narrow down the answer.

It might be because the site got shifted over to the NY Times. Every time I re click on it it doesn't register I've already played.
