Same, attempt to think of a different word on a whim each day. Keeps it fun. I gave Quordle a try a few days ago and that sort of encourages you to think of your starting words, but in Wordle itself I try to keep it spontaneous.

3rd line took a few minutes. 2nd line was sacrificed a bit, when I get chunks of yellow on line 1 nice to consolidate on line 2 before committing to guessing, sift some vowels and reg consonants and hopefully gain a green to hinge on.

On the Wordle golf thingey, I had fun, thanks for the appreciation (and understandable perplexity) of a random idea and I would be open to doing it again, but nice to have a wee break. Once a month at most seems right, maybe in a week we can do another one. It isn't very taxing, just fifteen minutes out of my day, Wordle included. As a newcomer to the game, I was worried when we lost three players early on, but my rules seem to have paid off in the end and just surviving 18 Wordles was an achievement from where we started. If you have any better ideas, or would like to try and host a game with one of the other daily puzzles and rotate them, by all means. Or if you would like to keep the thread clear of such comps, but these are really just a background overlay that don't really get in the way or require any attention from the daily posters here.
