I had to give up today, dug myself into such a corner. After 4 lines I could find only one dud word, and after 5 I (supposedly) couldn’t post anything. That’s my first ‘fail’, but more of a DNF.

When a family member told me the word it was audible facepalm

Words like "mouse" are a good start. Lotsa vowels.

Place, plank, crane, all decent.

Mine has more consonants than vowels - find I have more success using that technique. My backup word if I come up with a zilch has mainly vowels

At the end of the day, it’s luck with your first word
