I can understand the mistake. That’s not a problem. It’s the timing. Like you copped some heat yesterday about it and could have checked then. You were asked about it again earlier, you could have checked then. But you only checked and changed your story once you were in actual danger of being lynched.
I mean you went quiet when Headless was in the gun. Could argue work or busy fair enough. He could say the same thing now.

I never thought to check, I only really use the PM to vote and I went to check again that it was unsuccessful because for the second day in a row people kept saying it was impossible.
Yeah it's just it took so long. You could have nipped it in the bud at the earliest chance of asking. It could well be just coincidence as you say, but it's just the worst possible timing that you only checked when it was starting to be a worry for you. It also didn't help that the story fit the narrative you needed (which obviously makes sense). Like if you'd said I did this person and then it wasn't public that I'd had the amulet, then maybe we could be like yeah fair revealing it later. But it was already public knowledge (like the JC being dead and you seeing him). It's just a combination of everything.
Gralin was a 50/50 shot until the last couple of days. Headless is guaranteed arsonist and its earlier in the game. Plus he's not night immune so quite literally evil can take him out at any time too.
