Or, and stay with me here, 3KZ thought they were seer and came out not realising they were actually Mafioso
I did. I haven’t played a game like this before and forgot about the winning objective and just wanted to work out who was who. In my head I was always a villager. Pie 4 Life is best on field by a mile and exploited my excitement. I am going to stay on me, because I seriously want the Village to win, especially after getting a hammering early.

Sidequest. I'm more interested in the night immunes. I think you're Beta if you're anything (even if you don't know it), wolf a possibility because you're obviously capable of lying but right now I'm not that fussed with that aspect.

If I'm the Godfather and I've screwed it to high heaven for my faction. I'm all alone and I'm about to hand over the reigns to some poor person about to be in an unwinnable position, I need to redirect. Now at deadline CA took the chance to throw cats_09 under the bus. If they'd just seered them what is the point? Most people would seer as villagers let's be honest. They probably know evil outing evil unless for benefit is a no no. So if I'm CA I'm dropping a bread crumb enough to say hey here's something to look at, without outwardly saying that.

Essentially, I think CA was suggesting that cats was the Alpha because they missed a kill on them. Now of course this could just be a load of hog wash aimed to create some last minute chaos. But as I said if I'm CA and I need a play to give my teammate - who I don't know who - a slither of hope, I'm throwing everything back on the Wolves.

The thing that doesn't make sense is the whole 3KZ thing because the Wolves would respond by sending out their lowest member to try and take out the Mafioso. The difference is the Wolves didn't miss a kill, it is much more likely they seered FP previously and therefore are biting back at CA's attempt to throw cats under the bus.

Look I'm not here to suddenly say cats is Alpha as this is quite the play, but if I was in CA's shoes and missed a kill on someone, I'm letting everyone know to help my incoming teammate. The response from the Wolves would be to then to the exact same thing back. Now does FP have the amulet which of course buggers up the plan?

There's a lot of what ifs, but if this did happen, it's very clever and gotta applaud everyone involved. I'm just putting my mind in the mind of CA.
Look it's plausible

Convoluted, unlikely, but possible

I hope you're tracking the votes

Off to Bunnings now. Got to stake some dwarf apples. 🍎

Yeah look like I said, it's probably what it is - 3KZ is the Mafioso who just made a funny blue. But it's happened so bloody often this game you almost think 'surely not again'.

Nothing worse than getting to the Dead PM and thinking 'oh shit I hadn't thought of that. At least its on the table for consideration, particularly if 3KZ does flip something different.

Glad you added apples to the end of that.

In terms of you/DP/PG it's a sidequest for me at this point unless there's any evidence that one is a NI. We know 3KZ is definitely evil so that's an easy get.
Not only am I a potential wolf but now I’m relegated to a bloody side quest.

2026 going brilliantly so far…

Sidequests are still important to completing the story?

I think we'll get too distracted by the minor possibilities which will get answered by the major ones.

Still keen to stick with the plan as I'm 100% confident we get evil with 3KZ but I enjoy when evil have good thought out plans and the best I can offer given I am in unchartered territory this deep with a good role, is trying to think like I would if I was in CA's shoes.
If you were in CA’s shoes you would be kicking back in the cricket thread telling everyone how wonderful you are

Need to dispose of some large, hard to carry items..?

Oh I’ve got plenty that I’ve relegated to 1 800 GOT JUNK but if you want to take absolute crap off my hands then yeah we can talk. Would save me a few $.

Actually if you have one of those companies that like junk because they recondition it or whatever then yeah that could work

Not speaking from personal experience but I reckon being held at gunpoint by a team of psychopaths would probably be worse.

I'd have the dead PM thing above that.
I’m not sure. I’ve looked like a dickhead in every dead PM I’ve been in, and I reckon that was not great but better than, for example, accidentally setting fire to my own legs

Yes I've always thought if you're going to set fire to yourself at least claim you meant to so you look less stupid

Sounds plausible.

If this was to be the case, why wouldn’t CA have been more direct with it though? If it’s me I’m being more transparent about it and saying directly that I missed a kill on cats and they’re probably night immune.

As it is now, all we’re doing is playing guessing games.

There's a stigma around evil outing evil. Saying you seered someone as villager doesn't mean much, but it's enough of a breadcrumb to put two and two together with a missed kill. As I said that in itself could be a distraction technique, but it was deliberately done as a way of throwing something out there, and more of something to just keep in the back of the mind. Really depends how 3KZ flips of course.
