I’ve never done it as I’ve been in the government since leaving school currently at SA health.
How do you get days off? Eg if I want a day off in the government I can use accumulated flexi time and don’t have to touch any of my 5 weeks of annual leave.

I do that in addition to my flexi days. I probably get 15 days off a year aside from all my annual leave. There’s no way I’m leaving government!

It depends on your employment contract. It will depend on the company you are employed by.
