Worth a thread, although all the action is in the middle of the night (our time).

The women's marathon starts at midnight local time, and even then there's a danger it will be delayed due to heat.
If only the IAAF knew it would be hot in Qatar in September. I guess they're not meteorologists.

Been glued to the TV watching this, fantastic viewing. Crowds have been really disappointing though, so many empty seats and not the best atmosphere either. Real let down and disappointing for the athletes who are putting on a show.

Men’s 100m was electric, Coleman lightning, 9.76. Nice to see De Grasse regaining top form too with a PB in the final.

Women’s 100m was scintillating, Fraser Pryce just too good. I like Asher-Smith too, so much potential, as well as Ta Lou, so nice podium that one.

Really enjoyed the mixed 4x400 relay, and do good to see Felix back on the track and winning another world championship gold.

Can’t wait to see Warholm vs Benjamin in the men’s 400m hurdles tonight.

Gayle in the men’s long jump was special, absolutely blitzing his PB to take the title.
