Finch gone.

Game on.

Bring the field in.

Khawaja is a bunny against spin.

Healy and Taylor already annoying in the few minutes they get on air.

Can we go back to the proper commentary.

Haven’t watched much cricket lately, eh?
He handled spin well in Sharjah and T20 games on flat pitches.

Yet to see him play spin well on a turning deck.

The ODI series in India when he was Man of the Series?
ODI series so flat decks again.

Let's see him score a ton in India on a test cricket bunsen burner before we say he is a spin master.

Some players will always have something to prove no matter how well they do. Khawaja seems to be one. Has a pretty fair test record and has improved out of sight in one-day cricket to make the World Cup team on weight of runs and not an absence of alternative options.

What do tests have to do with an ODI match at the world cup?
Guptill and Finch are stars in ODI cricket and are bunnies in test cricket against quality test match pace and spin bowling.

ODIs mean nothing, batsmen are judged on tests, if you can't cut it in tests you aren't a great batsman.

No one puts up Guptill and Finch as all time great batsmen no matter how many runs they make in ODI cricket.

They may as well put a bat pad or silly mid off in to try and take wickets off the spinners.

Whoever the Afghan captain is (Nabi?) is just letting Australia coast to victory with easy ones and twos to a spread field.

Unlikely they would win anyway but at least try and change it up and show some intent.

Given this isn’t a Test match, who gives a ****?

Naib is the new captain. Lots of controversy surrounding his appointment. Maybe Speaker can shed some light on it.

Had to happen - Smith and Warner together at the crease in the first game.
Hassan back - should be a good contest.
