Well the biggest player in this world cup could end up being the rain. What a joke

Looks like nearly every side will split points due to rain at some point, semi spots might come down to which teams you end up sharing with, kiwis for example got through all their easiest games without rain and that might end up being vital.

Yep, going to be filthy if we get rained out against Sri Lanka or Bangladesh. I hope the Windies don't miss out on a semi final spot because of this washout.

Type in somewhere like Taunton (where we play Pakistan tomorrow) and there's showers every bloody day for a week. Hopefully our game isn't disrupted much. Maximums in the teens. What a **** country to live.

Always risky holding a World Cup in England in June, the weather there tends to be better in July, August, September which is why the Ashes is held then.

In May and June you can still get the sort of weather we get in winter here with low temps and rain.

England, you suck as a venue. I'm astonished anybody with half a brain cell agreed to hold a world cup here this time of year. The tournament is already at a high risk of being askew due to weather impact.
