Everything has a purpose.

I think if we consider Poppa's coaching history, particularly his greatest success with the Wanderers, you can see parallels with this team - he's trying to build a team who can get results against teams who are better than us, and with limited opportunities to build that team games like this become pretty important.

From here, I'd rather win the game 2-0 than 4-2.
