In fairness, Handscomb was one of the in-form batsmen in ODIs leading up to the tournament. It would have been easier if he got to play a couple of wc games before the semi.

Carey timing the ball well, so was Warner. So whilst there's juice in the pitch, a batter that gets in is going to cause damage. This might actually be a good pitch for Maxwell, and I don't rate him at all.
