I thought he hit the nail on the head! Not fussed with Phil. Copped his penalty on the chin and moved on.
Zach Johnson can STFU though
I don’t. He’s moaning because it’s a challengeI thought he hit the nail on the head!

Must be pretty soul crushing seeing really, really good shots just roll off the green every damn time. It’s taking away the advantage the really good players have.
Nah, he’s moaning because the ground staff were instructed to go too far!I don’t. He’s moaning because it’s a challenge
Except Fineu and Berger both tees off early and got a round where the greens still had some moisture and the guys that tees off later were playing on concrete. It’ll be an interesting final day though, that’s for sure.Yet the top 5 are all guns and highly ranked
Sugar coat all you like, it's cheating when you deliberately break the rules. Weak as piss not to DQ him, no way what Phil did is in the spirit of the game of golf.
His only intent was to stop the ball rolling of the green, wether he stops it dead, or plays a shot on it the result is exactly the same, he may have had a bigger score on the hole because of it. Dead set cheating IMO.
I’m pretty certain that they deliberately made the course too tough yesterday to bring DJ back to the pack. How much money will the bookies make if DJ doesn’t win?

I get some of the criticisms but for one week out of the year seeing players shoot +1 to win a tournament is refreshing.
Normal services can resume next week when the courses are indistinguishable and half the field is shooting -15

He was mentally shot from yesterday!38 putts though, that isn't going to win you much, he wasn't much better today on a so called easier day.
I think he cost himself, not the course.
