Who’s been enjoying watching all the old classic highlights matches of The World Series ODI’s from the 80’s and 90’s? Bringing back a lot of memories and nostalgia. ODI‘s will never be that good again! A big shame. :(

love watching the old West Indies teams boy they had some big names and some big boys too lol Richards, Ambros, Walsh, Garner, Richardson, Marshall.. the names were just amazing with that team.

Can’t forget Dean Jones he would just tear bowlers apart back then and was also my favourite player along with Sir. Viv growing up. loved watching them play. Viv so cool and confident chewing the gum while smashing it and Deano was cool and collected no nonsense stuff.

what an era.

This post is a bit confusing, World Series Cricket refers to the unofficial cricket matches organised by Kerry Packer from 1997 to 1979, it would be great to watch them again.

Very nostalgic and great to watch.
Love seeing the players having a crack at each other, the commentators laughing it off about little incidents, no one seemed to be offended back then.
Great to see the ball running into the boundary fence, the fieldsman trying to stop the ball hitting the fence and not having to worry whether or not he was touching the fence when he stopped the ball.
Great seeing a ball 5 inches down the leg side not being called wide, Bounces could be bowled without worrying if they went to high. Great cricket played by great players.

The crowds and the atmosphere through, that can never be replicated again!

Australia almost never fielding a full strength team outside World Cups hasn't helped. 2015 World Cup vs England and final vs New Zealand had great atmosphere. Predictably went back to nothing next season.

Mid-strength beer has driven away all the 'party' people.

Have they shown the Hobart game where Mujtaba hit Steve Waugh for 6 off the last ball to tie the game?

It says how strong the Windies were in this era that they could carry someone like Logie for so many tests, and Williams who is categorically the worst keeper batsman I’ve ever seen
