The concept is fine, having tons of people is great. Having a bigger prize on the top end is a better thing for casuals to look at, I don't think cutting the % of people paid to have a better pay structure would have hurt numbers. Having first place only be like 6% of the prizepool is insane to me. Def should have propped it to a milball for 1st.

First event wasn't to be, ran up to 13k then lost QQ<AQ in pre for about 10k, managed to get back to around 16k at 150/300 and lost a flip AK v JJ getting it in pre

Was a super soft tourney, will play the 1 drop tomorrow

Why would you over shove there anyway?

AK is folding to most bets; AA/QQ/JJ/1010 maybe calls?

88 / 44 / 6x obvious calls; everything else fold

Saw a hand reported today where a guy with K10dd had 2 people shoving on him on a flop of 9dQdJd

One had AA and the other had Ad2x

that's one way to chip up at the main, flop the stone cold nuts and have 2 people get it all in against you

More shoddy reporting:

isn't that a flush for KK?

Irena Batorevich Slow Rolls With Aces, Scores Knockout

Irena Batorevich opens to 3,600 from the cutoff and the table folds around to a player in the big blind who three-bets to 18,000.

Batorevich then clicks it back to 38,000 and the big blind quickly announces himself "all-in". Batorevich asks for a count to compare her own stack to the all-in amount, as both players appear to be evenly stacked.

The dealer counts it down and the final amount falls just under 180,000. Batorevich then begins to inspect her stack, counting down every last chips that she has in front of her before verbalizing "call".

The player in the big blind confidently tables
and stands, thinking he has the best hand only to see Batorevich table
.

The entire table shoots away from the table, some in laughter, some in shock, with the big blind turning to furiously say to Batorevich, "You f*&$#%@ slow rolled me!"

Batorevich doesn't have any response at first but does after the board runs out
, shouting, "Yes!" as the river card falls and locks up her knockout and more or less double up.

The eliminated player continued to glare at Batorevich on his way out the door, motioning to the tournament screen above mumbling, "One hundred away, one hundred away."

Irena Batorevich - 330,000

Thats a way to bubble the main... brutal

Action folds to Josh Ladines in the small blind, who pushes out about 60,000 which is enough to put Roy Daoud all in in the big blind.

"Let's sweat it together," said Ladines as Daoud sweats looks at his first card.

Ladines leans over Daoud's shoulder as Daoud sweats his hole card.

"It's a five," said Daoud.

He looks at his second one and immediately goes into the tank for a few moments. After just under a minute in the tank, Daoud calls.

"You're in good shape," said Ladines who flashes the

It's discussed amongst the table that Daoud has pocket fives and several minutes go by while other hands finish and the ESPN cameras get in position to film the hand.

Everything is set and Jack Effel comes over to the table and announces the action. Daoud shows
and is in good shape against Ladines'

The flop is
and Daoud is still in the lead. The table lets out a groan as the

and the whole area erupts as Daoud takes a bad beat on the bubble of the Main Event to become one of the 2015 WSOP Main Event bubble boys ...

Josh Ladines - 424,000
Roy Daoud - Eliminated

McKeehen is a very good player but **** me how good does he run!?!
Even if his rungood ends tomorrow to just back to average he's basically got this in the bag. Would be a monumental upset if he lost it from here with this structure and with half the chips in play.
