Minus six or seven can sting a bit, but they do often turn into perfectly fine days.I lived in Canberra for 3 years.
Those beautiful, sunny -7 degree mornings were not fun
While it was started by a Richmond person who has a well-known dislike for the Cats the premise of the question is fine, and responding is open to everyone. I think the voting shows this as well, with supporters of all clubs nominating KP. I will say I think most voting would be based on the shape of the playing surface and no doubt influenced by Geelong's record there over the past 20 years. Given the public areas are basically brand new I'm not sure how anyone could vote for the stadium and facilities itself. Admittedly I have not attended (yet), but given modern stadium design I don't see how it could be aorse than some of the stadiums in the poll.Clearly this thread is just an extension of the Richmond fans obsession with Geelong but in reality the answer lies somewhere between Ballarat/TIO/some gather round tip
Probably the G when all your bandwagonners drop off for the next decade.Which main ground is the worst and why?
Aww you love us that much?Probably the G when all your bandwagonners drop off for the next decade.
I loved your three decades of obscurity, looking forward to the next three.Aww you love us that much?
The park is surrounded by South Geelong and Chilwell, neither of which are the "best" suburbs in Geelong. Eastern Beach and Newtown are the best suburbs in Geelong. It's a complete shithole, made all the worse by its surrounds (which are ironically Geelong's "best" suburbs).
I've lived there for 20 years and been to the bean shaped ground numerous times. So I can comment. The park is surrounded by South Geelong and Chilwell, neither of which are the "best" suburbs in Geelong. Eastern Beach and Newtown are the best suburbs in Geelong.
Another poster who has never been to the ground but is an "expert"... not
Fine, I know you've posted the same thing previously. To be fair, if my team hadn't won a game at a certain ground in a generation I'd have the same view as you.I've lived there for 20 years and been to the bean shaped ground numerous times. So I can comment.
The whole place is a shithole!

At least we have our own ground and nobody can take it away from us. They've tried but failed.
I'll concede one thing. A ground like GMHBA might be a shit hole for teams that play indirect, boundary football like the Saints. But for teams that play corridor football it is perfect.

Marvel sucks.
And generally speaking I have to say I hate all the lights/LED ads at the grounds these days. Really hard on the eyes.
Like baseball and cricket, one of the beautiful things about Aussie Rules is that the grounds have different sizes and that teams have to have a game plan to use the dimensions to their advantage.
If GMHBA gets people's knickers in such a twist, I'd hate to think of how outraged they'd be to watch a test match at that renowned shithole, Lord's.
Lord's a shithole? You are clueless.
