Anyone heard of Terry Keays....... from the Pies.

He played two or three good games for the reserves in 1990 late in the season (kicked a bag in round 22 from memory). When Brian Taylor got dropped after the drawn WC game, Keays spat the dummy when he wasnt picked to replace him. He quit the club at the end of the year and went to Richmond. God bless Richmond.

3 votes for Brendan Fevola.....pretty stupid even by BigFooty's standards.

A guy who's reputation is still based on the Millenium game and off-field exploits perhaps.

But by the age of 21 he has at least kicked 1 bag of 5, 3 bags of 4 and 8 bag's of 3.

Hardly Colemanesque I know, but neither the worst player in the AFL either.

If I was Malcolm Blight I would have to say DAVID PITTMAN or how about a Shaun Mcmanus his kicking skills are a treat

Why Bourke i admit he's not great but he did string a few good games for the tigers together i think you should stop bagging him ant that bad, the worst player in the AFL right now is Fevola.

Recently Bourke and before that Calthorpe but not worst overall player as the did have their good years. Bourke was raved about at Richmond and Calthorpe did play in the premiership plus didn't he win the medal in the state or all aus game?

Worst overall that i've seens gotta be Tim Elliot probably! Nice dude but played like a rubber monkey trapped in a condom!

Danny Roach was definately a wasted talent. Dunno whether to blame the recruiters there or the coaching staff but how can a bloke taken at number 7 go to waste like that. Dale Baynes was another one who didn't get much of a run and from around that same time, Rhyce Shaw. They showed a bit upon their arrival and i wish they were nurtured along a bit better then they might have still been there today!

Funny how all your posts in this thread are having a go at Freo players.

Some of my personal favourite hacks are Shane Sikora, Luke Trew and Craig Smoker.

Don't forget Jonson Clifton (sp.?) ;)

Yeh sorry bout that let me think of some eagles

I HAVE A WINNER ADRIAN BARICH

Jaxon crab who did play some good games for pt last year and taken so early in the draft for the eagles and the great nick stone was a bit of a shocker as well

Thats cool! There has been a few Freo players to choose from over the years.

Craig Burrows springs to mind.
Not to mention Brendan Fedemma.

Marty Whitelaw was sensational - played 1 game, I think his stats were - 0 kicks, 0 hballs, half a tackle and a bit of a paddle on out on the wing, and some kind of a shepherd in the second quarter.

Michael Clark - also 1 game - but plenty for the Western Warriors.

Mark Gale - stick to golf, boy.

Who recruits these blokes?

I still reckon Darren Glass takes the cake - a few seconds left in the demo derby - drops a sitter in the square and loses by a point. What a crab.

Bit harsh: 7 kicks, 2 marks, 4 hballs and 18 HOs in his one game

Now here are some good stats: 1 kick, 1 mark, 1 tackle and an inside 50. Awesome stuff :D

Josh Mahoney easily

At the Dogs Mahoney always did pretty well when he played in the ones. In his first season with us I remember thinking he was unlucky to be dropped and in his second I thought we didn't give him a fair go

Mahoney's main problem was his size. He was too small to hold down a back pocket on a regular basis and when he was at the Dogs we already had plenty of midfielders

Mahoney's not a bad footballer, as shown by his performances in the VFL

Josh Mahoney easily

I have watched him play about a dozen Essendon reserves games and he starred in them all....

I know its only reserves but he could play....one game he had 47 touches 4 goals and took a gutsy mark in the last minute running back into a pack of players to save the game....

As for Mark Athorn....he was best on ground for Essendon in the 1993 Premiership....i wonder if they gave him a medal?
