From today's preliminary final, not necessarily a terrible clash, but I still think the away team, West Perth, should wear their blue shorts for this one.

Different footy code, but today's NSW Cup Grand Final between the Bulldogs and Jets would have to be up there as one of the worst clashes of all time.

Just popped up on my Facebook feed. Looks shocking, even for a reserves(?) competition

Does the NRL have a clash policy? How does this happen?

Today's game is not run by the NRL, it is the NSWRL who controls the ISP competition. But there was little that could be done. The Bulldogs only have the striped jersey for this competition, and even though Newtown do have a white alternate there would still have been some level of a clash as they wear blue shorts with it.

And in regards to the Panthers v Warriors game, there is no real clash as one team was in mostly white and the other mostly black. It was quite easy to tell the two teams apart.

Oh I might've been thinking of the NRL game posted on this thread a couple months back.
EDIT: On page 8 :)

Melbourne vs. Bulldogs in the AFLW is the worst I have seen a long time. It is like Melbourne's home guernsey vs. Melbourne's royal blue clash guernsey.

Bulldogs AFLW guernsey has a red 'yoke' on both the front and back. Melbourne wearing white shorts, which then matches up with their white band across the body. Mind blowing :-/

Watching matches involving the traditional big 4 sides (Carlton, Collingwood, Essendon and Richmond) can be painful unless if Collingwood is the away team and whenever Essendon or Richmond are away against each other

It didn’t. I assume that was the game we accidentally packed the wrong jumpers, assume we would’ve copped a fine or at least a please explain from the AFL. Back in those days before we had the white clash, we’d wear and away sponsored home guernsey for away games against the dogs and Roos, like how we wore home sponsored away jumpers at subi against tigers blues bombers and crows
