Fantasy Footy Notice Image Round 7
SuperCoach Rd 7 SC Talk - Trade Talk - Capt/VC ,//, AFL Fantasy Rd 7 AFF Talk - AF Trades - Capt/VC
McCartin proved at Sydney without injuries he was a quality key defender, Patton never proved he was good at anything other than sending super creepy messages to women.
I thought Patton showed a lot of potential prior to his first knee injury. He was a monster sized power forward similar to Cloke but better kick. Even when he returned from the ACL he showed signs but the second ACL was the end.
Could barely move side to side when he went to Hawthorn.
McCartin also showed great potential. Bit like Hawkins at a similar age.
Began with a bang as won us several games with some last quarter heroics in his first two seasons.
Kicked 3 goals in the 2002 Grand Final, including one to put us in front in the last quarter.
Very skilled scrawny beanpole, thrown into KPF and ruck way too young and played hurt most of his career, was still winning games for us early 2010 (him and Medhurst set up a bunch of early wins then missed the finals).
I feel like he produced more consistent footy than Kreuzer, although both suffered long term injuries. Never managed to wn a B&F for us, but the Copeland voting favours guys who play every game.
Far from the worst number 1, although injury did stifle a promising start.

Poor Fraser was forced to play backup ruck to Stuning Steve McKee (legend) as our KPF slots were occupied by Tarrant and Tony Rocca. Both of those guys played too much full time ruck far too early in their careers and as a result were constantly hurt.
Both were good players who could have been very good if in a better development system.
