With the right marketing and a decent national TV deal, it could get a good following during the AFL off-season, sort out footy fans who don't care for cricket.

ATM it seems to be the NEAFL as a whole.

North has 6 sides, of which 2 are AFL Reserves sides and one is from NT.
East has 8 sides which has 2 AFL Reserves sides, 4 from Canberra and 4 from Sydney. (Yes Queanbeyan is from NSW)

So Qld has less representation than Canberra does with only 3 clubs not counting the AFL Reserves sides compared to 4, in an area that has 5 time participation numbers.
Sydney only has 2 clubs that represent their area.

Then you have a side that plays an AFL Reserves side in the GF and beats them, well done to Aspley.

The draw is lopsided just like the AFL.

Some games are telecast live on youtube, if you have a smart tv all the better. Commentary is not great but at least they are having a go.
