As the title suggests. Physically I had my elbow tattooed last week for a good 2 hours or so and it ****ing drilled, haven’t really experienced much in the emotional pain department at this stage in my life, haven’t really lost any family members or the like that could cause that.

Over to you!

From what I've seen that tends to trump most things, except man flu, that's the worst.

Speaking of.....

Man flu

Well I must confess, I recently had what I presume could only have been the man flu. Have never been so sick in my life so I do feel your pain.

It's debilitating

Gall stone attack.

Had me writhing on the floor in agony and even when shot with enough morphine to knock out a horse it was still agony.

Post ACL recon is pretty painful too but doesn't compare to the gall stone.

Emotional...probably my parents divorce. Going to live with my Dad and not understanding why my mother didn't contact me. My first and second relationship ending. One particularly rough patch with my son.

Physical. Labour pains.

If you've ever had a kidney stone block your ureta, I understand your pain. Worst. Pain. Ever.

Still have kidney stones and every time I get a pain in my side I get worried it's a kidney stone on the move. Had gall stones for two years and it doesn't compare.

Migraine when I had pneumonia. Awful. Burnt the candle at both ends for about 12 weeks, physically and mentally. Was incredibly fit (competitive swimming). Had a mild chest infection turn into pneumonia which filled half my left lung with infection. The headache was crippling. Every time I sneezed, moved, moved my eyes, I would get this searing pain all through my head that would throb for minutes. It would bounce like a pin ball from one side of my eyes to the next.

7 days of that. The doctor would say ‘you’ve got to cough up that chest, get it out’. It took me 5 minutes to recover from one cough.

I also electrocuted myself from a faulty power point in my back shed. That was genuinely excruciating and it had me shaking for ages. My heart rate didn’t slow down for about 30 minutes.

You got a spider web tattoo didn't you.

Worst pain over time, I had a really bad ear infection and had to drive home from the country, what would normally a 4 hour drive turned into 6 due to bush fire detours. I was in agony the entire drive. (I was driving)

Wish I did, those suckers have no shading and would have taken a couple of minutes! :p

In no particular order-

Gout- Under rated on the pain scale.
Migraine- Only ever had one, felt like ending it all.
Getting kicks in the scrotum- Playing soccer/futsal a few times.
Fractured vertebrae/Bruised Kidneys- playing Rugby League.

Women always play the childbirth card in this discussion to which I say you've never been hit really hard in the bollocks.
:tearsofjoy:
I got sliced open through my skin, my abdominal muscles, and the uterus and then the cut was streeetched to pull my baby's big head (38cm diameter) out. Shit's ****ed!

Tooth abscess.

I've broken bones, had serious flus/illnesses, and torn a muscle almost off the bone. None of those trump the pain of a tooth abscess. The thing with muscles/bones, etc, is you can sort of do things to stop the excessive pain (like keeping it still, whatever). The tooth abscess I had was about 3 days of just pure pain that spreads throughout your head like an electric shock. Hated it.
