Worst player in the AFL currently regularly getting a game? (Formerly is Priddis the worst?)

Believe it or not trading Mitchell and Lewis for bugger all was definitely respectful. They wanted to play on and we did everything to help them out. If we would have demanded better picks it would have made it harder for them. Retirement packages basically within the context of us not guaranteeing anything long term at our club. And they deserved this given their service to our club

Have no idea why posters don't get this - it's kind of obvious isn't it?

Even stranger for posters who are supporters of teams who are beneficiaries of this said respect to not get it
But according to your logic as legends of the club they should have just been given a spot in your best 22 until they decided they wanted to retire. And don't get me wrong, I love Mitchell, he's twice the player Priddis is.

Mason Cox.

Currently one of Collingwoods key members of the forward line.

In 2017.

What a time to be alive
He's not nearly as bad as people make him out to be, and isn't considered best 22 either. Nobody thinks he's a star, but he's at least competent.

There's a number of similar aged key position players on AFL lists who grew up with the game that are poorer than Cox.

Where does he say that? He highlights that Hawthorn gave them the best opportunity to extend their playing careers.

You're not using my logic or you're not reading my post or you're not very logical

Take your pick

Mitchell is ten times the player Priddis is or was. Mitch still has the skills and sleight of hand along with footy nous to deserve a spot. Priddis unfortunately is cooked. He needs to go for the team and his own good.

Need some attention on old Pridda, because he certainly doesn't get it from our media. Every man and his dog going to WCE games this year knows that he's looking shot. Basically just a specialist stoppage tackler now, can't even get a handball out (seriously, go watch his last 2 games closely).

My list gives some younger players a bit more time

Adelaide: Mackay
Brisbane: Lester/Rich
Carlton: Ed Curnow/Thomas/White
Collingwood: I don't know Collingwood enough but surely one of their other guys like Phillips, Smith, Broomhead, Ramsay, Crisp or Hoskin-Elliot musn't be pulling their weight
Essendon: Green
Footscray: The edgy pick is someone like Johannisen or Stringer; the correct pick is someone like Cordy, Suckling, Tom Boyd or Adams
Fremantle: Kersten
Geelong: Murdoch/Bews
Gold Coast: Haven't seen enough suns games but surely Joyce and Leslie play less games in a better side? Is Lemmens worth being picked every week?
Greater Western Sydney: Have no idea
Hawthorn: Was Gibson, but is probably on his last legs. Langford is get inside but is a terrible kick.
Melbourne: Vince/Melksham/Bugg (punch aside, he's not that great)
North Melbourne: Mullett/Hansen/Gibson
Port Adelaide: Tough, but Sam Gray and Impey don't kick enough goals, are Broadbent and Young good enough?
Richmond: Castagna, Prestia, Edwards and Caddy are at times not far behind
St Kilda: Gilbert or Weller, largely because he misses a lot of shots
Sydney: Ruck duo of Naismith and Sinclair isn't flash
West Coast: Priddis is a contender, so is Wellingham and Cripps

Yeah he's the "f*** it, let's try height this week, that'll help!" He's not great but would benefit from some continuity. As he's only played six games this year, he's not really a regular in the side.
