yeah. No doubt a long way from the worst player in crows history, but whenever number 14 got the ball I just cringed because he was a clanger waiting to happen.
As for this thread, D Gags has this one wrapped up. I was so happy when they traded him to Carlton, to this day still the only person i've been ecstatic to see depart our list.

Not that this guy is the worst ever, but Brett Chalmers managed to play 50 games of football for less than 6 possessions per game average...
Also, Trent-Ormond Allen and Bryan Beinke played 80 games between them for only 7 possessions per game average....

Just watched the 1997 Prelimanery final last night. How the hell did Aaron Keating get a game?. Worst player i've seen period at that level. Not just for the crows.

look, aside from the litany of sub afl players we paraded through our club in the early years - and its obvious who is not familiar with them - Gallagher actually won a rising star and was traded for by another club.
by any objective standard, you cannot make an argument that he is the worst player to pull on our jumper. even if you are a relatively new supporter.
I say Allen Bartlett not just because he was a player clearly under the water line for afl standard, but because of the times we needed to rely on him to do key roles. like stand wayne freaking carey.
its one thing to look at any guy who played 5mins of the bench one game and say he sucked but someone like that never really counted or participated in the clubs fortunes.
guys like Kirey, Logan, Geddes etc never really got into the action, so never represented the club. the worst players should be ones who actually played, albeit even just a handful of games.
we relied on bartlett, **** me, we were in a state.
whereas a Guy like Peter McIntyre I always liked, almost up to standard and made up for it by pure biff. that was intimidation, I will fight you now, or later, get out of my way...

Keating was a really poor player too.

justin cicollella was as submissive a player as they came
matthew collins should have been a 200 game player
matthew kluzek had a hell of a first game
andrew crowell
luke jericho is the worst player to ever kick 6 goals in a game in the afl
however the 'worst' crow was laurence angwin
some of the worst players for the club came around season 2000 or thereabouts under the reign of garry ayers
