They only dominated in the ruck against richmond because they (Carlton) Were up against Richmonds 2nd rate Forward ruckmen. Look what happened when they versed The real ruckmen that played for geelong. They Got the ******* **** Flogged out of them.

But when Simmonds is up, hes arguably one of the best ruckman in the league.

It wouldnt be so bad if we had Knobel in the side, i dont think its such an issue that our backups are so bad. But it means sacrificing having Pattison in the forward line and Polak in the backline and alot of restructuring.

the Kangaroos ruck division is one thing they don't need to worry about, Hale can hold his own quite well

And so can Richmond and Essendon. Hille and Simmonds are elite ruckman, and Knobel can ruck adequately. I'd rate Knobel better than Cloke that's for sure.

Watched the game last night and Mark Blake absolutely killed Cloke and Ackland.

The most dissapointing thing abotu Carlton's ruck division is not there inabillity in hitouts but their total lack of accountabillity to their direct opponent.
Mark Blake had 15 possesions, a career high.
And Ottens played his best game in a long while getting plenty of the ball.

Hawthorn have Robert Campbell which hes certainly no hack, played a very good game and is under-rated..Tayler...well is average
we have Renouf and Bailey the 206cm ruckman, i think we will be ok in the future with those two

Robbie Cambell ranked second in hitouts to advantage behind Lade and this was with Everit in the team for half the season
Cambell and Mitchell were also ranked number one for ruck-rover combinations
Big Bob is one of the most underated players in the comp
If your judjing this on ruckmen that get possessions and goals then fair enough (even though Robbie averaged over 10 disposels) but he is one of the elite hitout ruckmen in the comp

If you look at the first 2 rounds, our #1 ruckman has faced against 3 of the top ruckman in the league. Fraser, Lade, brogan. To do all the ruck work against lade and brogan shows that he has so much talent. Go the MONSTAR!!
