Worst team we've lost to?

I was originally going to include Richmond 2006 in a much longer list. But looking back through the records, there are three clear standouts.

So cheer up people, we've had worse.

Personally I think the first Showdown along with the Carlton loss about two years ago were the worst teams.

Port Adelaide 2000 (they were OK-ish in 1997) and Carlton 2004 were two I had in my head.

But looking at those two teams - Port finished 7-1-14. Their second half of the 2000 season was much better than the first half and in hindsight was the start of that winning run from 2001-2004.

Whilst Carlton finished 10-12 in 2004 (two games above us); they probably weren't as bad as we tend to think.

No - 1995 was at Football Park.

Fitzroy's sole win in 1996 was against Fremantle.

We kicked very poorly for goal and made every mistake in the book.

No-one picked up Kelly.

I think he may had close to 40 possesssions.

Yeah that Swans side of 1994 was worse than the Richmond side this week as well as the Fitzroy side of 95.

That Swans 94 game was the one when Modra went missing? Or got suspended? leading up to the game.

Yes it was - Cornes dropped the boy for a lack of discipline -he may have missed a training sessoin or been late for training. It caused an almight ruckus at the time.

Kelly was just awesome this day.
