Hypothetically, who would you prefer, Pagan or Walls? :p
It'd be hilarious to see Sheedy go to Carlton. I think Walls'd be that conflicted he'd split into two beings.

No thanks, Pagen did very well at North but they did have a very good list, the real test of how good someone is when things are bad, on that score I think we can mark Denis down.

Good Luck to him but no I don't want him at Essendon

People forget though that he did build that list to be what it was. Same with Sheedy, opposition fans say anyone could have coached the 2000 side, he built the side to be what it was.

Great team, and Sheedy picked some pretty good lieutenants too.

I have thought about this for a bit before i jumped in and the answer for me is no but not becasue i dont think he can coach. In the end i dont see what we would gain replacing Sheedy with him. It is the same reason i am not sold on Daniher and that is i cant see why we need swap an experienced coach with another one. I think some people have been very short sighted with Pagan. He has had everything working against him at the Blues. He started with a crap list and it was always going to take a seriously long period of time to rebuild them. To add to that he has always have people in the back ground working against him. He has had board changes and certain legends of the cub that have never been in his corner. Add to that the fact that he has had friction in the assistant coach ranks for close to 2 years and im not surprised the playing group was lost. I dont think it was simply that Denis lost them , i think they have simply had enough of the set up and along with the other factors i mentioned they have been broken . I dont think it would have mattered who was in charge they would not have been able to pull this ship into line.
Anyway back to the question at hand , no i dont think Denis is the current fit. I think he could get another coaching gig but i dont think the time and fit ir right for us at the moment. If we are going to change i think we need to be looking at a pretty fresh and new team at the top with maybe an experienced guiding hand below in the assistants role.

Im not sure about this one, if he had full control who knows what he could do at Essendon !

I think it is unanimous. No frickin' way should Pagan coach Essendon and I'd be very surprised if he coached at AFL level again. He probably has a few million in the bank, so why would be bother coaching below AFL level? Retirement seems the likely option - drink a few beers and catch a few fish or play a few rounds of golf. I would (but maybe that's why I'm not an AFL coach).
