Would we take Ottens back???

If Ottens doesn't get traded and put into the PSD, would it be in the best interests of the RFC to take him back??

As far as i am concerned, Brad Ottens should never play for the Yellow and Black again. He has gone to chase the $$$$, but only to the clubs HE wants to go to. Talk about having your cake and eating it too. Sorry Brad, but if you left for the $$$, you should be playing for WHOEVER is willing to pay you the ridiculous amount your asking for. Not sitting back and ruining the Clubs opportunity to be reimbursed for your mediocrity.

If we take him back, it means we have to OVER pay the goose (yet again), and i don't think the supporters will ever feel the same toward him. I definetly know i won't be supporting him.

He won't be drafted, a deal will eventuate in the next day or so. Very, very hard to see that we will get NOTHING for him. If it is the case however, he won't be welcome back by the supporters, myself included.

You look at someone like Thompson - said he needed a change and was open and honest about it - a deal was done quickly and it would seem although disappointed the Hawks fans understand and were compensated for the loss. Thompson showed class and character. On the other hand there's Ottens. It's one thing to leave but to leave and have no respect for the Club he leaves behind and whether we are compensated shows a weak character - Not welcome. No bloody way! Good riddens!
