Not once have i actually said he wants to play for Geelong.

As i've had to mention again and again, he will never leave the Geelong area because he is so close to his family and friends, thus, if he does play AFL, he will have no choice but to play for Geelong.

It's either Geelong, or Modewarre. No other possible options.

Agreed, if he plays for anyone, it will most likely be Geelong - but you make it out as if it's strictly impossible for him to play anywhere else.

So tell me - Jon Brown, Scott Lucas, Matt Maguire, Matthew Primus...why didn't they suffer such a fate? They weren't close enough to their friends/family?

Sorry, I can't buy that tale. He may well end up at Geelong, but his choices most certainly extend beyond Modewarre and the Cats. I am positive he's considered playing elsewhere.

Nathan is a unique individual from a unique family, comparing him to others from years gone by is folly.

If you had a detailed understanding of the Ablett's, you'd realise how ludicrous it is to compare his situation to that of a Jonathon Brown.
