BTW Has anyone got the TNA Global Impact dvd? If so, is it any good? I really want to watch the Angle/Nagata match, but wasn't sure about the quality of the dvd.

Yeah, I've got it. (I love DVD burners )

Haven't got round to watching all of it yet, only watched the Daniels match, but it seems well set out and professional enough.

Got 'Wrestling's Made Men; Breaking the WWE's Glass Ceiling' for Christmas, and it's a fairly good book. It's a month by month look at the WWE from April 2003 to June 2005, so it's not new by any means, but it's a good read nevertheless.

Also picked up a Harley Race book today from Borders on the cheap, so looking forward to reading that.

Has anyone bought the Summerslam boxset? If so, is the quality of the discs up to the usual standard of WWE releases?

I've had my eye on it for a while and at $160 atm it's quite tempting.

I've already got the RR and WM sets, but have been holding off on this one as i thought the cost was a bit prohibitive, but now it's at a decent enough price for 20 discs.

Alright folks, prepare for the deal of a lifetime. I'm (hopefully) going to be ordering some comp set from the US. Not the WWE released ones, but ones made by regular people that range anywhere from 3 to 30 discs. Think of a wrestler and chances are there's a fantastic set featuring him/her. Wrestling Observer Match Of The Year comps, *insert random year/feud/company here* comps...pretty much anything from any period from any part of the world is available. Alot of this stuff will never see the light of a WWE released DVD or a torrent site. I'm offering you folks the chance to get some of this stuff for a fraction of what you'd pay to get it from the States.

Check out this link or PM me for more info.

Alright, well here's what it says

I'm thinking of ordering some comps from the US. I was wondering if there were any people out there that'd be interested in doing some group orders to help reduce the costs for all involved.

Basically how it would work is I'd need at least 3 confirmed orders for each set, and when I recieve them I'll make 3 (or however many) seperate sets and send them to those that ordered them. The more confirmed pre-orders the cheaper it'll work out for each person. You'd be getting the sets at a fraction of the usual cost.

Looking at s**t from Goodhelmet, Keith_H, SecondComing and others. Pretty much any sort of wrestling from any period. PM me if you're interested, want to see any comp/match listings, have a specific comp you'd like but don't want to pay $150 to get it over here, or want to get a rough estimate on prices. The main ones (not the only ones) I'm looking at right now are

Just finished reading the Death of WCW last night. Really good book for someone like me who never really watched WCW in it's prime (too young).

When I got near the end though, I had to read some of those storylines multiple times. Wow, just didn't think they could be that bad :p

Anybody have Edge's decade of decadance. (CBf reading thrugh the whole thread. :( )

Saw it at JB and was about to buy it when I realised I'd left my bank card at home.

Yep.

Haven't watched it all, but the best of E&C on Disc 1 is well worth getting the whole thing for. Genius :D

Also, those who have it, how much did you pay for Jericho's book?

I got it for about $20 from America a while back, but that was when the Aussie dollar had far more value.
It's a wonderful book though, so if you can find it for under $30-35, i think it's well worth it.

I just got the Bret Hart book (about $30 from America), can't wait to read it.

It would have been a better set if Christian was out of contract when they were making it. I mean, who knows Adam Copeland better than him?
