Interesting take.

Anyone know if they’ve lost any/from their premiership side?

Tom Condon is the best forward in the competition. Not sure anyone argues that. Kicked just shy of 70 goals in EDFL premier. You’d think that type of form translates to more in the WRFL

Jack Condon, Di Stefano, Mantas, Moncrieff walk into every Division 1 senior outfit. I’d say more than just two good recruits.

Shaun Campbell, has won the last three competition medals in a row in Division 2.

They’ll surprise a few. quality on every line.
Doesn't necessarily translate into more goals in the WRFL. If the quality of supply is similar then you may be right but that's a big if..

That’s a fair statement.

I think it’s all relative though.

The quality of defenders in EDFL Premier is far superior WRFL Division 1.

Not sure if you got a chance to watch the Grand Final against Keilor. He kicked 4 and had two defenders hanging off him all day.

If Parkside can win some contested football, and get 40-50 entries per game. He is kicking goals & lot of them.

Jerry never let's the facts get in the way of an insult

The Avondale Heights Football Club and Ascot Vale Panthers Junior Football Club are thrilled to announce a partnership for our under 16 junior boys programs in season 2024, where we will field two merged under 16 boys teams.

Across season 2023, AHFC and AVFC have formed a strong partnership across our junior girls programs and have further strengthened ties by working together to build an elite preseason program over summer.

This progression is a wonderful step forward for both clubs to develop and engage our players and we look forward to the opportunities the partnership will bring to our players, coaches, volunteers and wider club communities.

As part of this new partnership, we are excited to announce Simon Wiggins as head coach of the under 16 boys program. Simon played 116 games at Carlton AFL and was part of the leadership group for several years. Simon is a level 2 AFL coach, holds a Bachelor of Education and has been coaching juniors at Ascot Vale Panthers for the past 5 years. Simon is a fantastic genuine person, who loves his footy, which was reflected this year as he was inducted into Tasmanian football’s Hall of Fame for his contribution to AFL.

Joining Simon as assistant coach is Roy Agresta.
Roy was part of our grand final winning under 14’s extended coaching staff.

He has represented the club at both junior and senior levels winning a premier division B&F.
Amongst Roy’s key attributes is his ability to read the game and most importantly his relationship with the junior players at the club.
His passion to share knowledge and simplify the game will benefit our under 16’s program in 24.

Inside effective 50's for the top sides this year was about 25 per game.

Nice post Jerry merging under 16 teams.

May want to check out Parksides website and Facebook page where Ascot Vale is fully promoted as the junior club for Parkside.
