Out side of Lavo, there isn't much from the bottom sides that would suggest they will bridge the gap.

May be a couple more well known WRFL names also heading down Merton street next year.

Hopefully they get more input and games out of these you mention than the few "well known WFNL names" that momentarily headed to Merton Street last pre season.

That's not entirely correct, Newport were kicked out of the league in 1999 because of poor on field and off field behaviours, something that has plagued the recent Newport club since they were reformed.

I cant see a problem with them including the history of the old club.

They weren't reformed. It's a completely new football club.
