Watched a bit of the Rams last year, have not seen them this year. From what I saw last year i thought they had a tonne of potential. Expect them to win a few more games before the end of the season.

If they can get Damien Robertson back on the park, they'll be quite dangerous. I'm slightly concerned his calf might not handle the intense load of Division 2 Football.

Watched 1st half at Lavo v Albanvale.

Albanvale looked the better side but Lavo hung on to them and only trailed by 10 points at HT, mind you they were 10 behinds, Albanvale wasteful at times, whilst Lavo kicked 5 straight.

Albanvale moved the ball well with skill and so did Lavo at times. Again, Lavo couldn't run out the 2nd half with the same competitiveness and got run over again after I left, same thing happened at North last week, a shame.

Gee Lavo must be very ordinary..

Rams winning might set the tone for Melton Centrals to move to WRFL next season. At least they should be contacted and seriously consider a move as a point of difference in a side from Melton and the ground there is more suited to WRFL than country style footy.

It’s pretty disappointing for Laverton but great for the Rams at the same time.

Been a lot of good talk coming out of Laverton you’d think with the quality on the list and the $$$ they’re forking out that they should be doing better really.

Geezus Conner give it a rest mate, you just beat Lavo.

You are playing Division 3 WRFL sides and still sitting second bottom on the ladder it’s embarrassing.

Watched 2nd half at North today, expecting Wyndhamvale to run them down after being 19 down at HT - but they didn't.

Impressed with North, didn't allow WVale a sniff, hassled and tackled them, whilst having Barnaby Sianos as a target up forward and Nathan Wallace giving them plenty of run. Might be the loss WVale needed but they have a challenger now. Margin got out to 36 after 2 quick goals at the start of the last and North did enough to win comfortably. Vales still favourites though IMO.

Been a sad few weeks for all involved at Laverton. First Brian Murphy and now Ryan Dickson. Hope all the people down there are doing okay

Attended the West Footscray v North Footscray game last Saturday at Skinner Reserve. Entertaining hard-fought game with NF kicking away in quarters 2 and 3. I thought the game was going to fizzle-out in the last quarter but WF kicked 5 goals to 1 to keep NF honest and running until the final siren. Looking forward to a great finals series in Div 2.

Good to see the two old FDL teams slowly getting back to where they were.

Thankyou. Both sides go back about 70-80 years so yes lots of history. I remember playing against them in the 1970s!
Went and saw my old team last night - North Sunshine - playing in the Thirds competition. Great night. Looks like the Dempster Park playing surface has been repaired from what it was 2 years ago. Looked like a great playing surface. Nights lights were good and they have a new scoreboard. Nice family atmosphere at the ground. NS won by about 16 goals - players had a fair dinkum dip and their marking around the ground and second efforts was excellent. Will upload some vision during the week.
