It definitley happened, no one knows who did it, so nobody was ever held accountable.

The old Newport FC had form with supporters pulling knives and threatening oppostion players. Booting them from the leaugue was the right thing to do at the time.

From what ive been told, the new Newport dont suffer fools anymore, which is a good thing

If you had any idea, you would know 20 blokes from newport, including 18s and reserves have been kicked out! So they don’t tolerate it at all.

You must have a loose screw or two if you think we all don’t have mates at most clubs. I’m in your head rent free for some reason just enjoy footy mate

I was told 15 ressies kicked out, 5 under 8s - you won’t see them at Newport in 2026 which is a good thing for the club to move forward. Ideally, they should’ve been banned from the league entirely too.

They will, but it will be a long year unless something drastic changes. Not a good time to be a player or coach at point cook

Does anyone know why Wyndhamvale was not promoted to Div 1 for 2026 after their 2025 premiership?

At the time the WFNL restructured after 2024 and promoted Albion, Sunshine and Newport to D1, as part of the restructure they also announced no promotion/ relegation after the 2025 season. Allows the 3 promoted teams 2 seasons to consolidate.

Doubt Wyndhamvale are ready for D1 yet, they are building for maybe 2027 by trying to establish an U18s for 2026.

Looks like Robinson played for 3 clubs in 3 different states in 2025 so seems like cameo appearances for lavo in 2026, hope I'm wrong.
