Exactly the same stuff Filo. And your correct it does go dormant during winter. Key is to not cut it after march (or lift the height of cutters) as it obviously does not grow in the cooler climate. That way when left it will also keep its color for a longer period and take more traffic. Also can be over sewn with Rye grass to help keep its color.
