This could be one option. Especially when the WRFL allows West Footscray to rape North Footscray of a whole team. All Devils under 16 team from last year that should progressively be their 18s this year has put clearances in to go to West Footscray. A coach who can't get his own way spat it and manipulated the team into going with him to West. He came from there a few years ago when West couldn't field any juniors, North took him in and some of the kids and now cos he can't get his own way he has taken his bat and ball and gone home. Disgusting. Immature and small local clubs won't recover from stuff like this.
Typical WRFL no friggin support to help the smaller clubs survive.

This has also happened at Sanctuary Lakes basically clearing whole teams from Point Cook and Old Westbourne (following disgruntled coaches). Worst still this happened at Under 10 and Under 12 age groups...WRFL have been very weak on this behaviour, a well run football league would surely have a rule capping the number of clearances from one club to another in any given year.

This also happened in the Eastern league earlier this year with a coach trying to take an entire team from Rowville to Knox. The league got a wind of it and knocked back all transfers. Not sure how it ended up though.
What are these coaches teaching these kids?? But, more importantly shame on the parents for following and supporting these guys and their motives.

believe this was on the 3AW rumour file this morning. average form to try and uproot a team from one club to the other, especially given the 'sheep' nature of kids when it comes to following the herd.
