Parkside reserves player had to be taken by ambulance . Seniors didn't start til 2.45.
The player is ok which is great news.
It was his neck, which was a worry at the time.

Think WRFL should have a rule that ensures Reserves games finish at 2pm no matter what. Senior games shouldn't be shortened. Think the Ammos have such a rule?

There is a provision to shorten the second half of the reserves if it hasn't commenced by 1.10pm, but nothing for stoppages in the second half itself. Since a match has to be abandoned if stopped for 30 minutes, the only way it makes sense is if the injury occurred late in the last quarter, the match was abandoned, and it took around 45 minutes to clear.

Finally some interest and pressure in the finals race. 3 teams fighting for one spot. PS v NP next week to be the decider. Expecting ML to fall over in the next month. But any team on any day.

Agree, ML have a massive run home, play all the top sides. This weeks PS v NP game is a huge one, both very even sides

Pretty much agree

NF Hopefully get the job done easily against AV , if its close it will be a worry for NF
PS very important match against NP and they both know it, should be a ripper, PS just
PC with 7 ins, First time at WF the only worry, but should do it easy but WF have been competitive in the last few games
YSE way too good for ML,but a big game for ML for the finals.

Things are hotting up for 4th spot with Parkside in the box seat but have a tough run home. Might come down to their last game against ML but if they can beat NF they should make it.

He's your traditional FF, one grab and a really nice kick for goal. Not sure whats going to happen when the FF comes back. Surely he wouldnt be dropped back

No preseason due to cricket finals. Played a couple of games in 2's and did his hammy

I Rate Cam when fit. Played with us at Nth in 2012 kicked about 70 goals in div 1 and an absolute dead eye kick for goal Port Colts Nth Foot Altona Newport Point Cook are the 5 clubs

Good player. Great fella.
Early on probably enjoyed a few bucks when he was really fit and firing but the last couple of clubs have just been to play with friends as far as Im aware.

When the sun comes out and the decks dry up in finals time he will be a huge asset.

Looks like Newport have written their finals off with the loss to WF. Parkside just about have 4th in the bag now even though they have a tough run home. Win one and they are in but loose all 3 and they still could make it. NP and ML would have to 2 out of the next 3 and make up percentage

Is anyone going to get near YSE, they are smashing every side by 100.
