Training Monday and Thursday at the moment.... did u see a few of boys there?

I saw a big group with the same coloured footy shorts.. i thought it might have been you guys.. perhaps it was a side that plays EDFL.
I tell you what.. i wouldnt mind going for a few more runs around the river... good on the eye.

Believe Spotty were down there too, on one of the nights. Heard they are in to it big time, three nights a week... time trials, beep tests, agility tests... dont really think they have a place in local footy, but good luck to them. Have also heard a couple of guys from there team last year arent too keen at this stage and have granted themselves a couple extra weeks break, wonder how that would go down with the new coach!

Agreed very easy on the eye
Have seen St. Albans down there on a Monday night for the past 3 weeks now as well.

Bangit..

Its just a footpath which is on bothe sides of the river.. then a few ridges which cross over. I run from the pub to the first bridge is approx 4klms... not 100% on that.

its 4.2km from bridge to bridge. theres also a 1km loop track next to the aths track which can also be used for time trials etc. has a few hills in it tho.

Sunny heights had 27 on the track, very good training night, 7 new faces, watch out for the heights in 07. Faase, redda and nazzam all going there in 07

Which bridge to which bridge. I run from the anglers car park over the first bridge and then back to Raleigh road bridge.... Can anyone tell me that distance...

Yeah thats bridge to bridge - The Afton St footbridge to the bridge next to the Anglers - 4.2 km give or take a couple hundred meters. If you want a really good run, chuck in the hills at Afton st as well, like Plough Wallace said in Year of the Dogs, "nothing like those hills to tighten up those calves boys!"

kangaman, what drugs are you on? Why say 4.2km give or take a couple of meters? Which end of the SCG do you enjoy batting from most?

I feel like David Duchovny in Zoolander when he's explained why Male Models are being used as assassins and then Zoolander asks him But why Male Models?

Seriously do I need to explain it, or are you going back to read the post again, maybe take it to your teacher and let them explain it to you??

Apparently Ramadan from Centrals will be the new 2's coach at Nth Sunshine and maybe bringing a few players with him. Hopefully not the ones who wanted to cause trouble last year. Hope they can add a bit to the side and have heard about the Yarraville Boys returning but nothing confirmed at this stage. Out of curiosity does anyone have an opinion about what sort of coach this guy might be, even though it is just reserves footy.

Ramadan is a great bloke, the people he brings with him are ******** house. They dont come training and only play saturday. They dont even pay membership

dunno about his leadership skills but can do some freaky things in front of goal...........is he going to be a playing coach?????gonna be a difficult job if he is playing and coaching at the same time to concentrate on all the things happening on the field as well as his own game.........

have heard that there are 2 clubs that might be missing next year. Centrals definately gone but Power look like getting up for another year. 2nd team in trouble may be Magpies. Does anyone know anything about this? do they have a coach and have they started training yet.

Thanks for the info guys much appreciated, I played there last 2 years as Captain of the 2's and retired this year as I am too old and too fat:) . Just wanted to know a bit about the guy. Hopefully he will help the kids develop a bit as the side was very young last year but the one good thing is they always have a go even when we only had 15-16 players.
