Absolutely stunned. I can’t tell you what that type of money does for our family. Credit card paid off and cut up. Haven’t been able to pay that thing off for four years. Chrissy presents for the kids and breathing space for a while.

I was speechless as it turned into the home straight. Was an easy watch in the end. My heart was pounding as they left the gates and I was just trying to stay calm. My daughter got stung by a bee about 20mins before jump, it was all happening.

Now for the Melbourne Cup!!! I love this forum. AFL in winter and the racing in Spring time.

Probably has to be the greatest Cox Plate win of all time?

Hard to pick one but it’s in the conversation. Small but decent field and smashed them and the clock. Goes alongside Winx as the best of the last 20 years for mine.

Funny the narrative was she couldn’t handle the hot tempo then produces that. Reminded me of VE’s Melbourne Cup win for Waller. She supposedly couldn’t handle a firm track then smashed the clock in one of the great wins.

I used to work in an agency as part of their RSG team and the number of times people would win big but fall through the crack somewhere when they elected not to withdraw, countless times.

Just make sure you withdraw the money and use it as you have said you would.

Withdrew 11k… all come through about 3 hours ago, paid bills and got $150 left in the bank account.

About an hour ago told the mrs (she has been out, I had the kids at home) that the last leg of “that” multi is about to start. Couldn’t find a decent replay but settled on 7now Cox Plate day which had a 14min recap of the day.

Set up a phone to film it and all as she didn’t know it had already raced. We watched it together, she cried, tears everywhere. Told her the credit card debt is goooone. Paid other outstanding bills. Currently cooking lamb chops on the barbie and how’s this for a kicker… it’s my F@%king birthday!!!!!!

They’re the crew Tom Papley got in trouble for when hanging out on one of their streams.

The main guy is the brother of Sean Bartholemeuw. Former bookie and big time punter.

Just watched the replay again for about the 20th time. The straight at the Valley is 173m long. JMac stoodup about about the 70-75m mark. He's nearly celebrated half of the whole straight! That's crazy.. in a Cox Plate.. while smashing the track record. One of the most dominant wins I've seen.
