Any thoughts on the drama between Dario Sammartino & Nick Marchington when the dealer miscounted Nick's all in bet of 17M instead of 22M?

Is the ruling unfair considering the dealer made the mistake or is it always the onus on the player to verify the count?
Didn't see that, only watched it either side of lunch

Both players made the final table didn't they?

Yes, Marchington out in 7th and Dario currently the short stack with 5 remaining.

Plenty of international flavour still on this final table. Out of these final 5 players 4 countries are represented.

Yeah I'm going to watch today's action later tonight, so should probably stay off here/Twitter til later

Seen Maahs bust Cai out with pocket 9s vs AK that didn't catch last hand yesterday. Cai didn't really play position well I thought, a few times he opened with hands others would've folded with then someone would've 3bet him and he'd give it up, other times he could've just flat called in some spots and not lose his man seeing he was short and needed to chip up.

That's it for Maahs. Had been trending downward for a while and starting looking likely to be the next elimination.

Surely onus isn't on the player to verify the count in these spots?
