Barty has withdrawn from both Doha and Dubai in the next 2 weeks due to a hip injury. Australia is so lucky to have her.

In other news which has even made the mainstream news in Australia, Osaka has split with her Coach, Sascha Bajin. Be interesting if Osaka will regress now. She is not playing in Doha either.

Assumed Barty pulled out of Doha because if the closeness between and the Fed Cup. Hopefully the hip isn't too much of an issue. Won't see her till Indian Wells now.

We don't know the real reasons and unless it's leaked by either of the parties involved, we probably won't find out.
