They've still been insanely lucky this week. Only Freo supporters could flog the Eagles on Saturday, have two out of three clear cut suspensions thrown out, and still have a reason to throw the toys out of the cot. This week has been a good lesson in how not to act in victory.

Any complaints about the media coverage of the derby? That whinging usually takes up a few days post derby. Either they didn't focus on Freo enough, or they focused on them too much to avoid laying into us.

I think I saw one post on how they only got 5 minutes on OTC, but I wasn't really paying too much attention to the post tbh.

I did see a lot of preemptive whinging about how the media would try to spin the game to make Freo hard done by. Normally the little brothers try to overtake the big brothers, but they seem to be reveling in it.

I also love all the references to 'On the Couch' and '360'. You just know they have been watching all the footy shows and reading as many newspapers as possible trying to find all articles and segments that have positive tone about the Dockers.

Before this week it was the 'The West Coast Eagle' and 'biased media' now they can't get enough of it and cannot value their opinion high enough.

It's like they want to all the validation they can that it's all not a dream...before the dream ends.
