Kinda looking forward to this one, so i can see for myself what the changes are that make it different to the SDvsRaw franchises.

Would need a serious overhaul and not just a splash of paint and 1 small change to gameplay. The Smackdown vs Raw series has been crap well since it first began with Smackdown vs Raw.... heck the previous game (Here Comes The Pain) was also dire.

The best game in the series was Shut Your Mouth :thumbsu:, perfect roster, perfect AI, perfect season mode, close to perfect CAW options ANDDDDDDDDD the best end credits sequence in a video game :D.

WCW/NWO Revenge (Is that what it's called?) might have something to say about that. Loved WM2000 as well though.

Not to start any fanboy shenanigans, but a new TNA game would be wicked. WWPG's roster is horrible these days...Not to mention the product ;)

Will probably still get this one, but will just create/download every TNA wrestler (or 'superstar' if your under 15 yo :o) and use them.

Apparently that's what they're starting to do.

While they haven't started fresh with a new engine, they've basically chucked out all the shit stuff from that engine and have redesigned a ton so it will feel like a new title this time around.

They're basically making the game live, instead of a bunch of pre-determined animations all lining up perfectly. Sounds good to me.

Would need to do a lot to actually get me to buy it however still.

The N64 games were absolutely amazing.

Both WWF and WCW/NWO titles were all awesome with their own different styles too. Spent heaps of hours in MP with the WCW titles, while the WWF was more about the SP experience.

I remember doing EVERYTHING there was to do in No Mercy, had everything unlocked and done. Went to save the game and accidentally turned the console off too early, corrupted the game save. Put me off it completely from then. :(

Originally it would just delete your save game data whenever it felt like it, but if I recall correctly, they re-released it with a fixed cartridge and those who had the broken ones could get theirs exchanged.

Heres hoping i dont get shafted with the free DLC like i did with Bret Hart last year....

Yeah i was told the 21st... the site says 24th, So i have absolutely no idea when its actually due

The 24th being the Thursday I would say that date...How ever every game released recently has had its street date broken by up to a week.

Looking forward to this one. I always pick up the WWE titles, but I didn't play last year's one too much. Wanting to get into this for the Create-A-Arena feature, circa WWF Attitude. :thumbsu:

Confirmed 24th release, the tv spots have just started on Fox8 with the release date.
