Woah, bringing up Chris Benoit, brave man...
I wonder what you are refering to by his secret...
Maybe we could have a celebrity exhibition match while we're at it, Steve Irwin Vs Brockie...

Maybe it is like the OJ Simpson book, he will tell us how he would and did do it!

Will we have a list of the 30 men in the Rumble?

Well, the secret probably isn't in the best of taste, but if Eddie does beat Benoit, then the secret will be revealed...that's why I've made it if Chris wins, nothing is said. I'm still not sure which way I'm going to go with it.

Will we have a list of the 30 men in the Rumble?

Yes we will, not in entrance order though...to make it a bit more unpredictable :D

hey its ARNY!!!

There has been a problem at the arena. The Raw superstars have not shown up here in Las Vegas. We believe it's due to the blizzard that has hit the city in the last couple of days. We will have more information on this breaking news as we get it.

Nice card Rick :).

AWAF has been injured and is in hospital, he should send his superstars over after the blizzard.

Thanks for the heads up. So it seems in a first for the WWE, the Royal Rumble will be postponed until tomorrow night at the time of 8.30. Hopefully everything will be in order then.

I still think Hector Chill should be in the Royal Rumble. Disappointing that he wasn't on the list.

Why don't you ask Asian With A Fro whether he has any plans for him? You might be surprised (or then again, you might not).

Well this was a bitch to write up, credit to Asian With A Fro for his excellent matches from Raw.

And here we go!

Royal Rumble 2008; From the Gaming Stories arena: Las Vegas, Nevada

J.R: Hello everybody I am J.R and with me is my broadcast partner Jerry “The King” Lawler. Tonight we welcome you to the Royal Rumble 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada. 30 superstars have a chance tonight to become the no.1 contender for either the World Heavyweight Championship or the WWE title in an over the top rope battle royal.

King: I love the Royal Rumble I can’t wait it just gets bigger each year.

J.R: Well that’s true King each year we are amazed by the highs and the lows of the Royal Rumble. Each year more and more fans tune in to watch the spectacle of the Rumble.

King: J.R speaking of the fans aren’t they in for treat in our opening match

J.R: For sure King…Our opening match is between Booker T and Kurt Angle for the Intercontinental Championship. Booker T has been defending his title for months now and has never backed down from any challenge. He has an extraordinary desire to win and that’s all you could ask for in a champ.

King: Ok JR but you forgot about the challenger.

J.R: Would you mind not butting in for once. I was getting to him. Kurt Angle is a fine competitor and is very familiar in holding WWE gold. He has held numerous titles including the WWE and the World Heavyweight title. He is by far the best technical wrestler to ever set foot in the WWE. Oh and speak of the devil here comes Kurt Angle now.

Match 1: Booker T © v Kurt Angle for the Intercontinental Championship

Kurt Angle walks out to the ring and has a look of sheer determination. His attention is solely focused towards the ring and nothing else. Angle kisses his medals and hands them towards the ref. Booker T’s music hits and the crowd cheers. Booker does his usual entrance regime but as soon as he reaches the ring he too is solely focused on the competitor. The two superstars stare down each other. The two superstars shake hands and go to the opposite corners.

The two superstars lock horns and try to manoeuvre their way out of the lock up. Kurt Angle arm drags Booker T who quickly gets up and runs into Angle who shoulder blocks Booker T. Angle bounces off the ropes and Booker T rolls out of the way and trips up Angle with a drop toe hold. Booker T quickly gets up and begins working on the back of Angle. Booker T sends a fury of stomps onto Angle giving him no space to breathe. Booker than locks Angle in a reverse chin lock. Angle is screaming in pain. The crowd begins to get behind him. Angle slowly begins to get up and quickly reverses the submission into a fireman’s carry. Angle takes the initiative and quickly German suplex’s Booker into a bridge pin. The ref starts the count but only gets the 2. Angle picks up Booker, high angle suplex's him, goes for another pin and gets the 2 again. Angle gets frustrated and begins stomping the left leg of Booker (Primarily the ankle). Angle then removes Booker T’s knee pad. He then lifts up Booker T’s leg from a high angle and slams it down knee first onto the mat (Booker T rolls around in pain). Angle then taunts towards the fans who respond with approval. Angle then places his attention on Booker T again and picks him up. Booker T than starts to fend for himself and begins punching Angle. The two wrestlers begin to trade punches and the crowd begins to awake. Shot after shot it’s as if the two are in a bar room brawl. Booker T than decides to bounce off the ropes. Angle runs at Booker and attempts a clothesline but Booker T quickly kicks Angle in the gut. Booker then bounces off the ropes adjacent to him and hits Angle with the scissors kick. Booker T looks at his hand and gets down on his knees. The crowd anticipate the next move and they see Booker T do the SPINAROONI!!! The crowd goes nuts and it’s as if Booker feels the match will be over very soon.

Booker T then picks up Angle and sets him for the Book End...Booker T attempts to do the finisher but Angle slips out of the move and hits Booker with an Angle Slam. Angle gets all fired up and his eyes are lit up like fog lights. Angle pulls back the two singlet straps on his tights and locks in the Ankle Lock. Booker T is screaming with pain the crowd feels the tension and wonders whether Booker will survive or not. Angle has the submission locked in tight. Suddenly Booker starts to squirm towards the ropes. Booker is only inches away from the ropes but Angle quickly drags back Booker back into the middle of the ring. Angle grapevines the ankle lock leaving Booker no choice to tap. The crowd is going crazy and Angle is on his knees celebrating with jubilation. Angle is given the Intercontinental Title and holds it up high...“and the NEW Intercontinental Champion is Kurt Angle” announces Lillian Garcia. Angle lends Booker T a hand and helps him. The crowd starts to go quiet as the two wrestlers stare each other down. Booker T then places his hand out. Angle looks around but eagerly accepts the handshake. Booker T then walks outside the ring and starts to move backstage.
Winner and New Intercontinental Champion: Kurt Angle

J.R: My God that was a slobber knocker of a match don’t you think King?

King:
I love that match the next time these two wrestle I’ll make sure I bring a spare set of underwear.

J.R: Thanks; too much detail my friend. Still to come for Raw the WWE title match between TJ Master and HHH the champion. Let’s watch how this feud eventuated.

TJ Masters vs. HHH Promo

J.R: Now we cross over to Smackdown who are broadcasting the next match.

Cole: Thanks JR, and coming up we have the US Title Match. Benoit had a verbal exchange with Eddie Guerrero this past week on Smackdown, Chris saying that he had something to tell Eddie in private. Guerrero refused, and now we have the stipulation for this title match.
JBL: Here we go Michael; this could be the show stealer!

Match 2: US Championship:
Eddie Guerrero (c) v Chris Benoit
(If Eddie wins, Chris must share his secret. If Chris wins, he doesn't tell anyone)

The two men tap fists to begin and circle each other. They lock up, and Chris locks Eddie in a side headlock. Guerrero shoots him off towards the ropes; Benoit bounces off and knocks Eddie down with a shoulder block. Guerrero springs back up and is met with a hip toss, and then another. Chris plays to the crowd, but is met with a mixed response, as the audience seems to be split 50-50. Benoit delivers a snap suplex, bringing a grimace to Eddie's face. A couple of minutes into the match so far, and Guerrero hasn't been able to get out of the blocks. Benoit now locks in a surfboard stretch, applying more pressure to the lower back area of Eddie. Guerrero eventually manages to get to the ropes, forcing Benoit to break the hold. Eddie rolls out of the ring to catch his breath, forcing referee Mike Chioda to start the count. Guerrero takes until the count of 7 to get back into the ring; the long break ruining any momentum that Benoit had built up.

Sure enough, Chris goes for a wild right hand when there isn't an opportunity, allowing Eddie to duck underneath and then nail a neckbreaker. Now Eddie plays to the crowd and is met by the same mixed response that greeted Benoit earlier. Confused at the lack of support, Guerrero focuses on his opponent, realising that he has a possible opportunity to inflict damage. He sets Benoit up for the three amigos, hits the first one, the second one, and goes for the third one....and hits it! Benoit is lying on his back dazed in the middle of the ring, as Eddie ascends to the top rope. It looks like Guerrero is attempting the frog splash...no wait....he hits Benoit's signature diving headbutt! Eddie crawls across for the cover, hooks the leg...1....2..short 2 count there as Benoit manages to kick out of his own move. The crowd are all on the edge of their seats as this match draws towards a fascinating conclusion. Benoit struggles to his feet as Eddie readies himself...and he goes for the three amigos again! He hits the first one...goes for the second...reversal into the crossface! The crossface is locked in!

Eddie is struggling, struggling, as the pain becomes more intense by the second. The crowd roars in anticipation, as Eddie's hand goes up...is he about to tap?....he lunges for the ropes and gets it! Benoit holds onto the hold until the count of 4, almost getting himself disqualified but adding some extra pain to the head and neck area of Eddie. At this point there are duelling chants in the crowd of 'Let's go Eddie' and 'Let's go Benoit' as the crowd is split right down the middle. Now it's Eddie who struggles to his feet as Benoit readies himself...what move will he attempt?...Benoit goes for the sharpshooter! It's particularly effective as Guerrero had his lower back worked on earlier in the match. Eddie is now screaming in pain as he is potentially in the last stages of his title reign. Once again Eddie's hand goes skywards....it seems like he's about to tap...and he grabs the ropes again!

Somehow Guerrero is still in the match after suffering repeated submission holds. Benoit waits for Guerrero to get to his feet...surely to administer the knockout punch...Eddie is on his feet, he turns around....and Eddie hits Benoit with the Gory Bomb! Guerrero doesn't go for the cover...that could be a big mistake. Instead he goes to the top rope...Benoit in the middle of the ring..Guerrero nails the Frog Splash! He crawls across, hooks the leg, the referee starts the count...1.....2......Benoit somehow locks in the Crossface!! Benoit has the Crossface locked in and they're right in the middle of the ring! Wait...Eddie reverses into a pinning combination...1.......2..............3!! Eddie wins!!

Winner and still United States Champion: Eddie Guerrero

Cole: What a match! Now we must wait till Smackdown this Thursday to find out what Chris Benoit’s secret is; will he reveal it?
JBL: If he’s a man of his word he definitely will be, so I can’t wait till Smackdown baby!
Cole: Still to come later tonight, we have our Smackdown main event: Tristagi v James Cann for the World Heavyweight Championship. But now, we’re crossing backstage and I believe that Coach is backstage with ARNY!!!

Coachman: Hello I am Jonathan Coachman and with me is one of the entrants into the Royal Rumble ARNY!!!! So ARNY!!! What’s your strategy to win the Royal Rumble.
ARNY!!!: I am going to throw them over the top rope.
Coachman: Ahh yes… but how are you going to achieve this goal?
ARNY!!!: By throw them over rope.
Coachman: Yes I know that this simple is not that hard you dumb ape
ARNY!!!: You made ARNY!!! angry now GRRRRR!! (ARNY!!! than Big Boots Coachman and leaves him unconscious. ARNY!!! then looks at the camera and smiles *crowd laughs*)

King: Haha ARNY!!!! is the biggest idiot.
J.R: King, I dare you to say it to his face.
King: J.R, Don’t be silly ARNY!!!! is not one to be taken lightly.

J.R: I know that he’s a crowd pleaser. Speaking of crowd pleaser’s this next match will definitely be one. It’s Raw’s main event and it’s for the WWE title. HHH v TJ Master is going to be an excellent.

King: So J.R who’s your pick; I am going for HHH there’s a reason why he’s called “The Game”
J.R: Sure is King. HHH is a future hall famer for sure. He’s ruthless, unforgiving and will do anything and I mean anything to come out with a win tonight. TJ Master on the other hand is young and exuberant. At the tender age of 21 this kid has a huge future. Wrestling is in his blood and tonight he has the chance to prove that he can hang with the best. Let’s have a watch to see how this feud unfolded.

HHH vs TJ Master Promo

Match 3: WWE Championship:
HHH © vs TJ Master

HHH is the first one to make his way down to the ring. HHH does his usual entrance routine but this time as he enters the ring he rips his shirt off and poses to the camera. The crowd boo mercifully but HHH just laps it up. TJ Master’s music hits: “Your Time Has Come By Audioslave” and the crowd goes nuts. TJ comes out with adrenaline pumping through his veins. TJ hi-five’s a young child and gets his photo taken with a hot busty brunette she then kisses him on the cheek. TJ then enters the ring and taunts HHH.

The two superstars look at each other with pure hatred. TJ shoves HHH but HHH quickly retaliates with a shove back. The 2 superstars taunt each other and begin trading lefts and rights. TJ forces HHH on the ropes. The ref comes in to break the count. As the two superstars move away from each other HHH gets a cheap shot into TJ and kicks into the mid section. HHH than punches downwards on the back of TJ. TJ yells out in pain and crawls on his knees. HHH hits him in the spine again this time TJ falls down face first on the mat. HHH mounts the back of TJ and begins punching his face. The ref starts a count but it’s broken at 4. HHH then drags TJ to the ropes and begins choking him. The ref also breaks this count at 4. HHH then bounces off the ropes and lands knee first into the spine of TJ. TJ screams in pain, limps off the bottom rope and lies in the middle of the ring. HHH than picks TJ and drops him nuts first onto the top rope. TJ screams and rolls outside the ring. HHH taunts to the crowd and the fans boo. HHH then goes outside the ring, picks up the drowsy TJ and attempts an Irish whip into the ring post but this is reversed by TJ. HHH bounces off the ring post and is dropkicked in the mid-section of the back (HHH bounces head first off the ring post). TJ (who can barely stand) makes it to his feet and throws HHH into the middle of the ring. TJ then climbs the top rope and taunts to the fans. HHH begins to get up but TJ goes for a bionic elbow. This is reversed as HHH kicks TJ in the gut and sets him up for the pedigree. TJ reverses the finisher though and begins to look really fired up. HHH gets up and runs into a clothesline, he gets up and again he runs into another clothesline but the third time HHH gets hit by an enzuguri which knocks out HHH. TJ has reached full adrenaline, the crowd is pumping BUT SUDDENLY out of nowhere John Humungo and Ric Flair begin pummeling into TJ. TJ collapses to the floor and Flair begins stomping crazily. HHH tries to run at Humungo but he is caught in a powerful spinebuster. Flair begins locking in the figure four leg lock on Master. Humungo drags HHH outside the ring and Irish whips onto the steel ring steps. Humungo removes the protective flooring and drags HHH towards the exposed concrete floor. Humungo then Gutwrench Powerbomb’s HHH on the exposed concrete floor. HHH is laid out and is out cold. Humungo then looks under the ring and brings a table into the ring. Master is getting a fierce beating from Flair. Humungo sets up the table and then Thrilla from Manilla’s Master into the table. Flair and Humungo quickly run away from the scene, through the crowd and rejoice in their destruction.
Winner: No Contest (HHH retains)

J.R: What in the hell was that all about!? How could Flair and Humungo do such a thing to these 2 superstars?! Humungo has betrayed thousands of fans worldwide he used to be the one of the biggest babyfaces of all time.
King: Don’t you see it J.R? Humungo has had it planned all along. He is sick of sucking up to the fans so he decided to do something drastic; something that would shock people which is what he did tonight.
J.R: Well trust me King he’ll pay for his actions let me assure you: what goes around comes around.
King: Yeah like the time you didn’t kiss Vince McMahon’s ass you got fired remember J.R
J.R: King would you mind not bringing up the past let bygones be bygones we’re in the present not the past. Anyway guys we’re off the Smackdown who are holding the next match. Take it away guys!

Cole: It’s time for the Smackdown main event, and it’s Tristagi against the rampaging James Cann. Cann has been on a real roll lately, and has demonstrated a vicious, sadistic streak, resulting in Tommy Dreamer being placed on the long-term injury list and Tristagi being laid out after Smackdown last Thursday.
JBL: Michael, the real question is whether Tristagi has the intestinal fortitude to hang with Cann. This could be over real quickly if the champ isn’t careful.
Cole: But John, you have to remember that Cann was involved in a Hell in a Cell match just three days ago. He surely can’t be at 100%.
JBL: You’re going to be wrong again Cole, just watch.

Match 4: World Heavyweight Championship:
Tristagi © vs. James Cann

Cann enters the ring with a smug, cocky look on his face, having administered the CKO on Tristagi three nights earlier on Smackdown. Tristagi then enters the ring with a determined, focused demeanour, realising the task ahead of him. The crowd is creating an electric atmosphere through their support for the champion and their equal hate for Cann.

The two forgo the normal lockup to start, Cann instead signalling for a test of strength. James and Tristagi struggle, until eventually Cann brings Tristagi to his knees. James weakens his grip and looks down at the champ condescendingly...but Tristagi brings Cann to the mat with a drop toe hold. Cann springs up; the champ hits him with one, then another clothesline. The crowd is roaring at their first sight of Cann being on the defensive in a singles match.

Tristagi relaxes for a split second, and in that instant James springs up and delivers a wicked clothesline, the impact making the champ flip backwards before he hits the ground. The momentum of the match changes straight away as the pace of the match slows down, the challenger Cann dictating the happenings in the ring, repeatedly pounding away on the head of the champ. This is smart wrestling, as he is weakening the body part that his finishing move affects. Cann hurls Tristagi into the ring post head and shoulder first, drawing screams of pain from the champ as the crowd gasp at the intensity of Cann's follow up kicks to the head. The challenger is relentless in his attack on Tristagi, taking him outside the ring and applying a strong Irish whip on the champ. It sends him flying into the steel steps, again hitting head and shoulder first. James rolls him back into the ring and starts unloading with repeated punches to the head, one after another drawing gasps from the crowd. Tristagi eventually gets to his feet and reveals a face that is busted wide open after being on the receiving end of those wicked punches. Cann smiles sadistically in appreciation of his handiwork and moves in on the champ again. The challenger knocks the champ down again and approaches the corner. Will he climb to the top rope?...No he exposes the top turnbuckle instead! Cann goes across to the champ, gives him the Irish whip...but Tristagi puts the brakes on just before he crashes head first into the turnbuckle. He taps his head with his finger; the crowd appreciating the smart wrestling by the champ.
In a moment of madness, Cann rushes towards the champ; Tristagi, sensing the challenger approaching from behind, hits a modified drop toe hold and sends James crashing into the exposed top turnbuckle! Both superstars go crashing to the mat; the champ exhausted from the punishment received, and Cann stunned from the recent impact on the turnbuckle. The referee starts his count...1....2....3....4....5....6....7.... Cann gets to his feet, closely followed by Tristagi. The two exchange punches, the crowd booing when Cann punches, cheering when Tristagi punches. Surprisingly, the champ gets the better of the exchange, forcing James back towards the ropes. Tristagi shoots Cann off the ropes, Cann reverses it, Tristagi bounces off the ropes and nails James with a sick spinning DDT, planting Cann's head into the mat. Tristagi crawls across for the cover..1....2..early and strong kickout by the challenger, frustrating the champ. Cann gets to his feet and Tristagi hooks him up for the Tristagi Driver! (Rock bottom) He covers Cann, hooks the leg...1....2.....Cann kicks out! The challenger has kicked out of Tristagi's finishing move! The frustration is evident on both the champ's and the crowd's faces. James struggles to his feet, and the champ hooks him up for the Tristagi Driver again! But Cann with elbows to the head send the champ reeling back towards the ropes. Cann catches his breath, Tristagi charges at the challenger and the champ nails a spinebuster! Cann is flat on his back in the middle of the ring, and the champ stands over his head. He's signalling for it...it's the people's elbow! The champ bounces off the left set of ropes, then the right set...and nails the peoples elbow!

Surely this will be it...1..........2...........somehow Cann kicks out! The challenger has now kicked out of both Tristagi's finishing moves! Cann struggles to his feet, while Tristagi is on his knees wondering what else he has to do to put James away. Cann is on his feet now in the corner, and Tristagi is still on his knees, unaware of the challenger bearing down on him.....Cann punts Tristagi in the head! A vicious kick right in the temple causes a glazed over look in the champ's eyes – it looks like he's out cold. Cann crawls across, covers the champ....1....2.......the champ kicks out!! Somehow he has kicked out of a vicious kick to the temple! Cann is stunned at the resilience of Tristagi, but quickly readies himself for another move as the champ struggles to his feet....CKO! No, reversal, hooked up for the Tristagi Driver! No, reversed again! Cann applies the backslide...1......2......the champ kicks out! Tristagi quickly gets to his feet...CKO!! Cann hits the CKO!! He covers the champ...1.....2..................3!! We have a new world heavyweight champion!
Winner and new WHC: James Cann

JBL: I told you Cole! Cann claims another victim and the James Cann era has begun! He has taken out Dreamer, Trent Patience and now Tristagi in three successive weeks! Will anyone be able to stop him?
Cole: Good point, and I guess you were right John. Tune in to Smackdown this Thursday to see all the fallout from the Rumble! Now it’s time to switch our attention to the most anticipated match of the year. It’s the match that makes and breaks wrestlers, it’s the Royal Rumble!

Match 5: Royal Rumble
Winner receives a title shot at Wrestlemania 24

Coming in at #1 is Adman. He’s waiting in the ring for his opponent to kick off the rumble…at #2 is Rhyno. This is the first time these two have met in the ring. Some stalling to kick off the match. The two start to exchange punches, and the 90 seconds is up…#3 is Matt Hardy. Hardy attempts to team up with Adman straight away, but Adman won’t have any of that, after Hardy accepted a challenge on his behalf two weeks ago and never told him. Dance music hits and #4 is Rikishi. The three men in the ring turn their attention to the big Samoan, realizing the threat he poses. They battle unsuccessfully to eliminate him, and number #5 is Matt Powers. Powers joins the Rikishi elimination parade but he can’t add anything. Rikishi battles his way out from underneath four people and sends Matt Hardy flying over the top rope with a massive superkick! Elimination No 1: Matt Hardy.

Everyone stops for a split second and admires Rikishi’s work; Powers comically shaking his hand. That backfires, because at the same time #6 (Matt Thorp) is coming to the ring, Rikishi eliminates Matt with a body press. Elimination No 2: Matt Powers. Thorp decides to wait in the corner for his moment, acting on the ‘out of sight, out of mind’ principle. It seems to work as no-one approaches him… #7 to the ring now, and it’s Chuck Palumbo. Chuck, one half of the FBI goes straight to Rikishi and the two meet in the middle of the ring. The other wrestlers stand back as the two lock up in a test of strength…they battle to a stalemate as the music of #8 hits…it’s Ladies Man! He charges to the ring, heads straight for Rikishi and nails him with a spear! The big Samoan is out of it, so Ladies Man picks him up and throws him over the top rope with ease! Elimination No 3: Rikishi. No #9 comes to the ring now, and it’s RVD. Van Dam goes straight for Thorp and nails him with a spinning heel kick, sending him towards the ropes. Thorp is groggy against the ropes as RVD comes charging at him…Thorp ducks, but RVD puts the brakes on; smart wrestling there. No #10 now and it’s Dimension. Dimension goes straight for Van Dam and the two tangle straight away. RVD is already close to the ropes so the two are battling dangerously…Adman comes charging at the both but goes flying over the top! Elimination No 4: Adman.

#11 is Pumba. Pumba goes straight for RVD and Dimension, who are still in their own little world. RVD sees Pumba but Dimension doesn’t, and gets nailed right in the head by a sick clothesline, sending him to the apron. As Pumba is about to eliminate Dimension, for some reason Palumbo comes charging in, Pumba ducks and Chuck goes flying over the top rope, essentially eliminating himself through a stupid mistake. Elimination No 5: Chuck Palumbo. #12 is Rey Mysterio. As he is entering the ring, Adman is still limping to the back. Mysterio nails him with a cheap shot, catching the corner of Rhyno’s eye, who is still in the ring. Rhyno yells at Mysterio, leaving him vulnerable in the ring. Thorp comes from behind and easily eliminates Rhyno. Elimination No 6: Rhyno. In the ring, Ladies Man is dominating the other wrestlers, eliminating RVD with a impressive military press. Elimination No 7: RVD. #13 is Hardcore Holly and he charges straight at the rampaging Ladies Man. With the mood Ladies Man is in, Holly doesn’t stand a chance and he goes flying over the top just as quick as he came in. Elimination No 8: Hardcore Holly.

Pumba and Dimension team up attack Rey Mysterio, eliminating him with ease. Elimination No 9: Rey Mysterio. #14 is Tajiri, and the ring has cleared out significantly in the last couple of minutes. Tajiri looks intimidated as he enters the ring, and with good reason as there are giants surrounding him. He manages to avoid everyone for a while and the halfway point of the Rumble is reached with #15 being Diamond Brett Healy. Brett loiters around the ring for a while, before teaming up with Tajiri to try and eliminate…no! Brett turns on Tajiri and kicks Tajiri, hurtling him backwards…and over the top rope! Elimination No 10: Tajiri. #16 now to the ring, and it’s Chavo Guerrero. Chavo starts exchanging punches with Thorp as the others battle in their own respective pairs. Everyone in the ring realizes Chavo is the only person in there from Smackdown, and they all turn their attentions to him. Guerrero realizes his goose is cooked and jumps over the top rope by himself! Elimination No 11: Chavo Guerrero. #17 is William Regal, and he decides to stay outside the ring, a smart move considering the talent in the ring. Nothing much happens in the next 90 seconds so #18 is Spanky, and he decides to liven things up a bit by going after Regal, who by this time has cautiously slid into the ring. Spanky takes control and goes for Sliced Bread but Regal catches him and dumps him over the top rope. Elimination No 12: Spanky.

#19 is Trent Patience, still not 100% from the number 1 contender’s match three nights ago on Smackdown. Over in a corner, Ladies Man, looking fatigued is battling with Pumba. Pumba goes for the knockout punch, but it’s not there, Ladies Man takes advantage and uses all his strength to toss Pumba over the ropes. Elimination No 13: Pumba. #20 is Ron Simmons and he goes for Trent Patience, but is met with a wicked clothesline, followed by a double knee facebuster, eliminating him. Elimination No 14: Ron Simmons. Patience then turns his attention to Matt Thorp, the two batting dangerously close to the ropes. Trent gets the upper hand, and throws Thorp out on to the apron. Diamond Brett comes charging at Thorp and knocks him off the apron, eliminating him. Elimination No 15: Matt Thorp. Healy and Patience battle as no #21 comes out - Matty Morrow.

The wrestlers brawl until no #22 comes out - Shannon Moore, and he is eliminated in record time by Ladies Man, who has brought a chair into the ring. Elimination No 17: Shannon Moore. Ladies Man turns his attention to Patience, swinging the chair wildly, but missing and hitting Diamond Brett! Healy goes flying and is eliminated from the chair shot. Elimination No 18: Diamond Brett Healy. Ladies Man has gone wild, now eliminating William Regal with another wicked chair shot. Elimination No 19: William Regal. #23 is Chris Benoit, and in the last 90 seconds Ladies Man has eliminated three people. Benoit, still downcast after his loss earlier, doesn’t seem to be in the right frame of mind. Taking this into account, Benoit is easy fodder for Patience, who without difficulty eliminates him. Elimination No 20: Chris Benoit. We’re down to four men in the ring at the moment; Ladies Man, Dimension, Trent Patience and Matty Morrow. That quickly changes to five though as no #24 comes to the ring - Sean. He, like Patience, is still feeling the effects of the number 1 contender’s match on Smackdown last week.

Matty Morrow has been largely unseen during his time in the ring, preferring to slide in and out of the ring when spotted. The other wrestlers finally latch onto this and decide to team up against him. They are about to eliminate him, until the music of the number #25 entrant hits: Shelton Benjamin. Shelton marches to the ring, and his sunglasses are promptly knocked off his head by Dimension. ‘My beloved sunglasses!’ says Shelton as he tends to them. Dimension sees his chance and eliminates Benjamin with a minimum of fuss, leaving five in the ring with five to go. Elimination No 21: Shelton Benjamin. The five battle it out until the music of ARNY!!! hits, (#26) and he walks to the ring determined to make an impact. Being one of the favourites of the match, the other wrestlers immediately turn their attention to him. Ladies Man picks up his chair and smashes ARNY!!! over the head sending him reeling. He is against the ropes, and is met with Sweet Chin Music from Dimension, but it still doesn’t eliminate him! The wrestlers in the ring all charge at him and manage to clothesline him over, eliminating him. Elimination No 22: ARNY!!!.

#27 now makes his way to the ring, and it’s Stevie Richards. Matty Morrow charges at him, but is met with a fly kick to the face. Stevie hits the Stevie Driver, and promptly eliminates him, and then in the midst of his celebrating is eliminated by Dimension! Elimination No 23: Matty Morrow. Elimination No 24: Stevie Richards. There are only three people left to enter, and #28 is Bradshaw. He nails his clothesline from hell on Sean, sending him crumpling to the mat. He tries it on Patience but misses, Patience turns around and nails him with the double knee facebuster! Bradshaw goes staggering back and is met with a chair shot from Ladies Man! He goes flying over the top rope and is motionless on the floor outside. Elimination No 25: Bradshaw. As #29 is coming to the ring - Eddie Guerrero, Sean is still making his way to the ring, groggy from the Clothesline from Hell. Patience picks him up and eliminates him, asserting his authority as one of the top guys on Smackdown! Elimination No 26: Sean. The music for the last man hits and it is…the Big Show!

The Big Show makes his way to the ring slowly, making sure everyone in the ring knows he has entered. He immediately sets upon eliminating the other four wrestlers. He easily throws Dimension over his head, disappointing the crowd, who had begun to get behind Dimension. Elimination No 27: Dimension. Show then turns his attentions to Eddie Guerrero, who is backing up from his match earlier on in the night. Eddie doesn’t stand a chance and is easily eliminated. Elimination No 28: Eddie Guerrero. Ladies Man and Big Show turn their attention to Trent Patience, who once again, doesn’t stand a chance against the two monsters. The two easily throw him out, leaving just themselves in the ring. Elimination No 29: Trent Patience. Ladies Man and the Big Show battle it out for more than five minutes trying to become the winner of the Royal Rumble. All of a sudden John Humungo and Ric Flair come to the ring! Humungo and Flair interfere and take out the Big Show: Ladies Man is now the no.1 contender for the WWE title!
Winner: Ladies Man

J.R: Oh my God!!! How could Humungo, Flair and Ladies Man destroy one of the most prestigious wrestling matches on the wrestling calendar?!! I am disgusted.
King: J.R, How could you say that. What is done is done and I like the new Humungo: he doesn’t give a damn what he does and how he does it.
J.R: Well Humungo is a…….
King: shhhh!!!! J.R Humungo is talking.

Humungo: You guys are wondering why we screwed over the Big Show, HHH and TJ Master tonight. Over the time I’ve been away I’ve been thinking. What have you guys ever done for me? Sure you gave me support and the strength to over come odds but it wasn’t good enough for you wasn’t it? So I decided to do something drastic. I decided to destroy the superstars you pay to see. I never got the attention I deserved; I never got the praise I wanted. Week in and week out I’d win but I’d never get the greatest reception of the night so Flair, Ladies Man and I talked things over.

Flair: WOOO!!!! Damn it feels great to see each and everyone of you whinge and whimper and complain about how bad we are. I am the dirtiest player in the game and I too wanted more. I wanted power, I wanted to be remembered as a true legend. Not by how many titles I won but by the way I demanded authority. Each and everyone of you don’t get it do you. To strive in the business you must jump over hurdles and avoid obstacles to become an immortal like myself.

Ladies Man: I too wanted power. I was stuck in the mid-card jobbing for others and not getting the fair treatment I deserved. I wanted to be the best but everyone around me got the opportunities that I desired. Each time I drew near a breakthrough it was blown out like a candle. Since Humungo and Flair were banned from the Royal Rumble they offered assistance for me to win the prestigious match. In exchange I’d become a member of one of the greatest factions to ever be conceived in the WWE.

Humungo: Listen up everybody and I’ll make it quick… “There are some wrestlers who are good at a certain thing. Some are good at submissions others are good at grappling but there are those who are good at everything and they are THE HYBRIDS” (Humungo points to himself, Flair and Ladies Man. He than drops the mic leaving in the resounding noise of boos)

J.R: On behalf of Raw and Smackdown we thank everybody for joining us. The Road to Wrestlemania has just begun and tonight would have to be the most shocking, most memorable and most historic Royal Rumble ever Good Night Everybody!

Wow man it really turned out well we make a great team :thumbsu:

Yeah, I read over it again and I found myself getting sucked into the matches :D

And I learnt something too - the max characters for a post in bigfooty is 30,000 - the Rumble was about 36,000
