I don't recall that ever being the case.

I'm sort of surprised Vickie is still around. She was originally only brought in after the fallout from Eddie's death and to add heat to the feuds following. She was never really someone who looked made for TV, and I thought it was kind of distasteful how they used her and played off his death around that time (well, I guess this is the WWE).
She doesn't have the look for TV for the heat she gets is great. She plays her heel role really well, I'm just disappointed that WWE put her in such distasteful story-lines. Remember Triple H showing 'nude' photos of her when she was getting married to Edge? How she became a 'cougar' with Dolph Ziggler? It's at least better than if she constantly brought Eddie up in promos or something as a face.

She was kept around to fulfil the remainder of eddies contract (IE the WWE were able to support her financially)

She was kept because she plays the villain authority figure extremely well

I read that she was offered the money straight out, but she refused and wanted to work for it

Must be a really strong person to do that when your husband just died and your job is to be hated and making fun of your appearance as well.

He was the shit ( in ring ) before he did his quad
I'm assuming you're speaking about HHH? I would have said when he returned his appearance and out of ring ability approved. His in ring ability has always been top notch.

HHH has always been one of my favourites. Couldn't care less that he married into the McMahon family, the reasons for him being pushed, him squashing others, etc. He was awesome. Still is.
Although he shouldn't have cut his hair.
I would have gone as far to say HHH was/is one of the most underrated superstars of the Attitude Era. Without him Rocky and SCSA wouldn't have been as big as they did. His push post Rock and SCSA era was justified as he deserved it. I'll go as far to say **** Bret Hart, could the bloke wrestle? Yes. But he is one whinging whining bitch and couldn't work a microphone if he tried.

If Triple H isn't in the top 1000 wrestlers of all time, Bret would be lucky to be top 5000.

Well said. I will just add Owen was better than Brett.

Id rather the Uso's have it.
They eventually get it, but they are currently getting the PTP over with the crowd so I'd say they'd be the ones who would take it off Team Hell No.

Team Rhode Scholars would've been my second option but they broke up, but this is good imo Damien deserves a real good singles push.

During the monday night wars ( war v nitro ) HHH work with DX was huge, they were losing viewers to WCW due to the NWO, HHH the rock, stone cold and taker were the reason WWE survived. Hence Vince rewarded all these blokes with massive pushes and contracts. Even in his early years he was great as the Hunter Herst Helmsley.

Also has 1 of best entrances and music in the business.

They were great but people would not have been tuning in to just see them tehy wanted to see Rock SCSA and DX
Was watching some old stuff the other day. Forgot how entertaining those TLC matches were with the dudleyz, hardys and edge and Christian. Those guys going to extremes along with mankind, Shane o mac and taker were a big part of the wwe's success.

Downloaded all 28 WM's - watched that last night. Was great.

Anyways, rumor has it that Vince is keen on Titus getting a singles push so I guess you can count out PTP getting the titles any time soon (if true). Got this from wrestlinginc as well:

CM Punk cut promos at this weekend's RAW live events and demanded to be announced as "The People's Champion." This may be something that carries over to WWE TV as he feuds with The Rock.
